Welcome to the Resident Evil 4 Chapter 3 Collectibles guide for the 2023 remake. This guide will walk you through where to find all 6 treasures and clockwork castellan in Chapter 3 while navigating the Village. During your first playthrough, make sure you trade with the merchant for each region’s map to simplify gathering treasures.
This guide shows the treasures found in the base game and does not include the extra treasures unlocked with the Deluxe Edition of the game. Those treasures are always shown on the map and are either found in chests or in lanterns hanging from trees/ceilings.

Village Square
Vintage Compass
After returning to the Village Square, enter the middle house on the north side. Us the small key found in Chapter 2 to open the drawer for the treasure.
Velvet Blue
After entering the Town Hall, shoot down the silver lantern hanging in the dining area.
Church
Elegant Headdress
When you reach the church, head around the right side to the back. The treasure is found in a chest next to a merchant request.
Quarry
Ruby
After clearing enemies in the Quarry, shoot the silver lantern hanging from the cables above.
Merchant’s Room
Hexagon Piece A
Open the chest across the room from the merchant for this item which will give you access to another treasure later.
Clockwork Castellan 3/16
Jump down to the pier below the Merchant and follow the walkway around the right side. Look up and shoot the clockwork castellan above the boxes.
Fish Farm
Antique Pipe
Shoot down a silver lantern on the northeast/right side of the Fish Farm.
Hexagon Piece B
After disarming/destroying the tripwire on the way to the shack containing the fuel, cross under the walkway. Then open the chest to find the 2nd piece to the puzzle.
Small Key
Open the drawer of the table in the small shack to the left of the fuel tank’s location.
Merchant’s Room
Brass Pocket Watch
Return to the Merchant’s Room and drop down the ladder to the left. Use the small key to unlock the drawer of a desk for the watch.
