Welcome to the Resident Evil 4 Chapter 2 Collectibles guide for the 2023 remake. This guide will walk you through where to find all 7 treasures and the clockwork castellan in Chapter 2 while navigating the Village. During your first playthrough, make sure you trade with the merchant for each region’s map to simplify gathering treasures.
This guide shows the treasures found in the base game and does not include the extra treasures unlocked with the Deluxe Edition of the game. Those treasures are always shown on the map and are either found in chests or in lanterns hanging from trees/ceilings.

Abandoned Factory
Sapphire
The first treasure is found in the 2nd furnace on the left just after viewing the parry tutorial.
Valley
Small Key
While fighting in the Valley, head into the building. The small key in in a box on a shelf in the small backroom.
Ruby
While fighting in the Valley, head up the path on the north side. The ruby is found in a chest at the top of the hill.
Abandoned Factory
Elegant Mask
After collecting the small key, return to the Abandoned Factory and use the key in the room where you found your gear.
Path to the Village Chief’s Manor
Sapphire
Just after using the Hexagon Emblem on the door near the merchant, crouch under the boxes after the 2nd enemy. The sapphire is in a chest on the right.
Clockwork Castellan 2/16
Shoot/knife the clockwork castellan inside the small shack on the way to the Village Chief’s Manor.
Pearl Pendant
Just before the chainsaw enemy, this silver lantern is hanging above a small well next to a shack. Shoot the wood holding the lid to the well up, then shoot the lantern.
Sapphire
The sapphire is hanging from a tree in a silver lantern just before the chainsaw enemy.
Village Chief’s Manor
Ruby
Open the drawer of the small desk on the right side of the hallway just after entering the manor.
Small Key
The key is sitting on a small table in the southwest corner of the 1st floor in the manor.
