Welcome to the Black Myth Wukong achievements and trophies guide. This guide covers all 36 achievements and trophies available in the base console game at launch. The PC version of the game contains an additional 45 achievements, a design choice that is unusual for a cross-platform title like this. Console or PC-only achievements will be noted at the top of each.

Game Stats
- Difficulty: 6/10
- Time to Completion: 50-70 hours
- 1st Playthrough: 45-60 hours
- 2nd Playthrough: 5-10 hours
- Additional Playthrough (if needed): 5 hours
- Does Difficulty Affect Achievements/Trophies?: No. There are no difficulty options.
- Missable Achievements/Trophies: Yes. Certain activities will lock out a few of the boss fights. They will be noted in the Black Myth Wukong Collectibles & Walkthrough Guide. If you miss these bosses, you can focus on taking them out during the New Game+ playthrough. Not breaking off the arms of the Venom Daoist will force another playthrough for all armor collected.
- Bugged Achievements/Trophies: The spirits dropped in some encounters may not show up. If that happens, any spirits earned will either be available in the shrines or they will unlock in your inventory at the start of the next chapter.
General Tips
- Fully explore each of the chapters, but don’t worry if you miss something. You can return later through the travel menu on shrines.
- Gather everything you come across. Some collectibles are enemies in disguise that you will need to complete your Journal.
- Return to vendors at the start of each chapter to see if they have new stock.
- Feel free to choose any abilities and skills you want. You can respec at anytime from shrines.
- Good early abilities include
- Martial Arts – Swift Engage & Effortless Finisher
- Survival – Robust Constitution & Rampant Vigor
- Smash Stance – Force Unbound
- Immobilize – All skills
- Transformation – Evergreen
- If you prefer fighting while locked onto targets, consider enabling Auto Lock-On When Attacking and Auto Target When Attacking in the Settings – Gameplay menu.
- Disable Motion Blur under Settings – Display if you don’t like motion blur in games.
- If a spirit doesn’t drop, you will receive it after the chapter completes.
- Press the dodge button (B/Circle) when knocked-down to get up faster.
- Equip the Golden Carp curio while farming enemies for random drop items.

Chapter 1 Story & Boss Achievements
Home is Behind
The old monkey has told his tale. Onward you must go.
Automatic story achievement/trophy. This will unlock after completing the first duel against Erlang, the Sacred Divinity at the start of the game.
Warring with Wolves
False is his name. Slay him all the same!
This achievement is only available on PC.
Optional boss achievement. This will unlock after defeating Guangzhi in chapter 1 near the Outside the Forest shrine.
Slithering Snake
The white-clad one pled his case. Spare him some days of grace.
This achievement is only available on PC.
Automatic story achievement. This will unlock after defeating the Whiteclad Noble in chapter 1.
Enduring Echoes
Three bells sound, lost souls bound.
This achievement is only available on PC.
Ring all 3 bells in chapter 1.

Temple of Taint
Now at an end is the elder’s long wait for the journeyer.
Chapter Boss
Secret Loong Boss
Cage of Claws
Smoke rises high, his doom shall arrive.
This achievement is only available on PC.
Optional boss achievement. This will unlock after defeating the Red Loong dragon in chapter 1. First, you need to progress through the battle with the First Prince of the Flowing Sands in Chapter 2. After the fight, use the Wandering Wight spell to smash the middle of the decorative wall on the left side of the arena. Enter the crack to collect the Loong Scales.
From the Forest of Wolves – Outside the Forest shrine, stay to the left side as you work your way through the area. Once you reach the waterfall, use the scales to open the path leading to the Red Loong dragon boss.

Chapter 2 Story & Boss Achievements
Cursed Clan
A whole nest of rats scatters and falls.
This achievement is only available on PC.
Automatic story achievement. This will unlock after defeating King of Flowing Sands, Second Prince of Flowing Sands, and First Prince of the Flowing Sands after the village at the start of chapter 2.
Sound in Stone
No words of kind. Pay them no mind.
This achievement is only available on PC.
Optional boss achievement. From the Squall Hideout shrine in chapter 2, head up the path on the left until you reach a cave at the top of the hill. Then, go right into the cave, take an immediate left, and look for a poorly lit ramp on the left before exiting the cave (just before the Rockrest Flat shrine). Defeat the Mother of Stone boss at the end of the path.
Take the Stone Essence (dropped by the Mother of Stone) and return to the Squall Hideout. This time head to the right of the shrine and look for a small ravine. Next, exhaust the dialog with the NPC rock at the end of the ravine and give him the item. Then, attack and defeat the Man-In-Stone for this achievement to pop.
The Stone’s Secret
This odd boulder has something curious inside.
This achievement is only available on PC.
Automatic story achievement. This will unlock after defeating the Stone Vanguard in chapter 2.
Om Many Padme Hûm
Search each Buddha’s head; in this perilous land, stones reside.
This achievement is only available on PC.
Optional boss achievement. While exploring in chapter 2, listen for chanting and collect all 6 Buddha’s Eyeballs. After defeating the Stone Vanguard, return to the arena and place the eyeballs in the other large stone. Then, fight and defeat the Shigandang boss.

Drum Quest
Buried in the Sand
The tiger, the child, both lost in the wild.
This achievement is only available on PC.
Optional bosses achievement. Defeat the Tiger’s Acolyte boss on the 2nd bridge beyond the Yellow Wind Formation – Windrest Hamlet shrine to obtain the Old Rattle-Drum. Next, travel to the following locations and use the drum when prompted:
- Yellow Wind Formation – Windrest Hamlet: Go back down the hill on the right, enter the village, and take the first left.
- Yellow Wind Formation – Windseal Gate: Head up the hill to the left of the shrine. Take a right at the top, cross the rope bride, and immediately turn left.
- Sandgate Village – Village Entrance: Enter through the main gate of the village (where you fought the Earth Wolf) and take the first left.
Agree to follow the child down the well and defeat the Mad Tiger boss to unlock this achievement.

Drunk Boar Quest
Gleams of Gold
The drunk said there’s gold here. Do you believe him?
This achievement is only available on PC.
Optional boss achievement. Follow the Drunk Boar’s questline through step 5 (see Shifting Sands below for details). After defeating the Yellow-Robed Squire, this achievement will unlock.
Shifting Sands
The beetle came with drumbeats’ call, and left with waves’ gentle fall.
Optional boss achievement/trophy. This will unlock after finishing the questline that starts with the Drunk Boar in chapter 2 and defeating Fuban.
- Talk with the Drunk Boar in the large open area directly behind the Rockrest Flat shrine.
- From the Windrest Bridge shrine, cross the bridge and follow the path to the left. Then, go up the stairs and break the glowing jar in a small room on the left and collect the Sobering Stone.
- Return to the Drunk Boar and exhaust his dialogue.
- Travel to the Temple Entrance shrine and talk to the boar on the right at the top of the stairs just before entering the temple.
- Return again to the area with the Drunk Boar and defeat Yellow-Robed Squire on the right side of the area up a slope.
- Interact with the large door and fight “Tiger Vanguard”.
- Talk with the king overlooking the desert area and fight Fuban.

The Tiger Family
The brothers and their father. You’ve met them all.
This achievement is only available on PC.
Optional bosses achievement. This will unlock after defeating all 3 tiger bosses in chapter 2.
- Tiger Vanguard – Crouching Tiger Temple
- “Tiger Vanguard” – See Shifting Sands achievement for details.
- Mad Tiger – See Buried in the Sand achievement for details.
Secret Loong Boss
Death in Despair
Resonant waves profound, he is now buried in the ground.
This achievement is only available on PC.
Optional boss achievement. This will unlock after defeating the Black Loong dragon in chapter 2. It’s recommended that you complete chapter 2 before confronting this boss to ensure your gear is upgraded enough. First, you need to progress through the battle with the First Prince of the Flowing Sands in Chapter 2. After the fight, use the Wandering Wight spell to smash the middle of the decorative wall on the left side of the arena. Enter the crack to collect the Loong Scales.
Return to the Fright Cliff – Rockrest Flat shrine and head up the stairs to the right. Use the scales near the sand waterfall to open the secret path to the Black Loong dragon boss.

Chapter Boss
Chapter 3 Story & Boss Achievements
Voice Vanquished
Red eyes mark wrong chants. The scripture needs amends.
This achievement is only available on PC.
Automatic story achievement. This will unlock after defeating Captain Wise-Voice just after the Mani Wheel shrine at the top of the pagoda area in chapter 3.
Karma of Kang-Jin
Now one less dwells in the dome of stars.
This achievement is only available on PC.
Automatic story achievement. This will unlock after defeating Kang-Jin Star shortly after the 2nd fight with the Macaque Chief in chapter 3.
Shell and Scales
To die is as woeful as to live alone.
This achievement is only available on PC.
Optional boss achievement. This will unlock after defeating the Apramana Bat boss and acquiring the Turtle Tear soak in chapter 3. From the North Shore of the Bitter Lake shrine, turn right and hug the shoreline. Approach the head of the giant skeleton and defeat the boss. After defeating the boss, interact with the skull. Then, return to the shrine and collect the tear near the shore, under the turtle’s head.
Zodiac Village
Secret in the Scroll
Near the hut the crops thrive; in the Painted Realm, their hearts lie.
This achievement is only available on PC.
After reaching the North Shore of the Bitter Lake shrine in chapter 3, turn around and follow the coastline. On the left, in the water, you will see a dragon wandering. After defeating the Chen Loong boss, talk with him. Then, travel to the Crouching Tiger Temple – Cellar shrine and talk with Xu Dog. He will give you Special-made Bone-strengthening Pellet. Return to the small shack on the shoreline and give Chen Loong the item. This will trigger a cutscene where you will travel to Zodiac Village – Village Entrance. Now, Xu Dog and Shen Monkey will move to this location and the achievement will unlock.
Happy Harvest
Fields kept trim leave time to skim.
This achievement or trophy will unlock after planting and harvesting crops in Zodiac Village. See the Secret in the Scroll achievement above for details on unlock the area. Once there, talk to Chen Loong again and give him any seeds you found on your journey. These will be planted. Return later to harvest the crops.
The Soaring Slash
A mere test of skill turned into a fight for the kill.
This achievement is only available on PC.
Optional boss achievement. This will unlock after defeating Yin Tiger, the blacksmith, in Zodiac Village during chapter 3. See the Secret in the Scroll achievement above for details on how to unlock this area. It’s recommended you wait until late in chapter 3 before taking on this boss and that you use medication for additional buffs after you learn his moves.
Approach Yin Tiger and Challenge him to a duel. After beating the boss, you will unlock the Ebon Flow spell. Talking with him again will open a new curio slot and the Iron Armor Set.

Treasure Quest
Marvelous Melon
A quirky man, a vanished melon patch; a marvelous spell, and an unexpected meeting.
This achievement is only available on PC.
Optional boss achievement. This will unlock after defeating the Green-Caped Martialist boss in chapter 3. From North Shore of the Bitter Lake shrine, turn around and follow the shoreline through the gate and up the hill. Rescue the NPC at the top and talk to him to start the quest. When you reach the Forest of Felicity shrine, equip the Ring of Fire spell. Follow the path through the gate ahead, but head into the cave on the left and turn right. Follow the new path passed the waterfall. Just before reaching the Towers of Karma shrine, you will hear the quest giver on the left. Talk to him and use the spell to warm him up.
Return to the Forest of Felicity shrine. This time go down the hill behind the shrine and follow the path. Just before the water, turn left and continue until you reach the cliff at the end of the path. Look over the ledge and you will see a safe path leading down to the Mellon Field shrine and the boss.
4 Captains Quest
Thousand-Mile Quest
Oh woe, oh woe, long trails they did go.
This achievement is only available on PC.
Optional boss achievement. This will unlock after defeating the Captain Lotus-Vision boss inside the prison during chapter 3 and collecting the Ashen Slumber spell behind the sealed door on the lowest floor. First, work your way to the Upper Pagoda shrine. Before continuing further, backtrack a few feet and look down the pit inside the corridor. You will see a few rooftops that you can use to safely drop below and fight the boss. Once the boss is defeated, the magic locks in the area will open.
Work your way to back to the beginning of the area, open the gate with the talking NPC in the back. Then, interact with the corpse to obtain the spell.
Corrupted Captains
How mighty would those four spirits be if I could harness their power?
This achievement is only available on PC.
Optional bosses achievement. This will unlock after defeating all 4 captains for the side quest that starts on the lowest floor of the Pagoda Realm in chapter 3. Refer to the Black Myth Wukong Collectibles Guide for a full walkthrough.
The quest giver is in the cell next to your starting location in the Lower Pagoda, but is locked behind a magic seal. Defeating Captain Lotus-Vision will break the lock.
- Captain Lotus-Vision: Down a small pit next to the Upper Pagoda shrine.
- Captain Wise-Voice: Story boss near the Mani Wheel shrine.
- Captain Void-Illusion: Interact with the large skeleton to the right of the Longevity Road shrine.
- Captain Kalpa-Wave: From the Longevity Road shrine, go straight and turn right when you reach the cliff.
Once all 4 items are collected, return to the quest giver in the cell next to yours via the Lower Pagoda shrine.
Fox Quest
Lust and Dust
Each and every one holds their own truth.
This achievement is only available on PC.
Optional boss achievement. This will unlock after defeating the Non-Void boss and returning to the fox quest giver in chapter 3. When you reach the Forest of Felicity shrine, interact with the corpse leaning against the nearby gate to start the quest and receive the Snow Fox Brush special item. You can use the fox form to quickly reach the next shrine by following the path, but is not necessary yet.
Continue working your way to the New Thunderclap Temple. Once you reach the Temple Entrance shrine, continue straight. After going up some stairs, turn left and enter the building at the bottom of the stairs. Ascend the stairs in that building and cross the bridge leading out the back of it. Not the one with the horse NPC. After the bridge, climb the stairs ahead and on the left to find the monk
Use the Snow Fox Brush to turn into the fox form and approach the monk. He will turn into the boss. After defeating him, return to the quest giver and receive the Snow Fox Brush curio for completing the quest.
Devoted Disciples
Such a waste of those four grand titles.
This achievement is only available on PC.
Optional bosses achievement. This will unlock after defeating all 4 Non bosses near the end of chapter 3.
- Non-White: Automatic story boss.
- Non-Able: From the Brook of Bliss shrine, go up the hill behind the shrine.
- Non-Void: See Lust and Dust achievement above for details.
- Non-Pure: From the Temple Entrance shrine, continue until you reach a courtyard with 2 giants. Then enter the building on the right.
Secret Loong Boss
Boundless Bitterness
Evening light on snow, rigidity ends in woe.
This achievement is only available on PC.
Optional boss achievement. This will unlock after defeating the Cyan Loong in chapter 3. First, you need to progress through the battle with the First Prince of the Flowing Sands in Chapter 2. After the fight, use the Wandering Wight spell to smash the middle of the decorative wall on the left side of the arena. Enter the crack to collect the Loong Scales.
When you reach the Turtle Island shrine, turn right and travel to the edge of the island. As you approach a small statue, a cutscene will play and the boss fight will begin.

Chapter Boss
Matches with the Macaque
You don’t need to wait for the perfect moment to soar to greater heights.
This achievement is only available on PC.
Automatic story achievement. This will unlock after defeating the Macaque Chief for the last time during the final boss sequence of chapter 3. See Nifty Nonsense below for details.
Nifty Nonsense
The fat monk failed, for he spoke too much.
Automatic story achievement/trophy. This will unlock after defeating Yellowbrow and the Macaque Chief, the final chapter 3 bosses. When you reach the New Thunderclap Temple – Mahavira Hall shrine, head up the stairs. This fight consists of 3 battles. In the first, you will fight an easy version of Yellowbrow. For the second battle, you will fight Macaque Chief for the last time. After that, navigate a linear path to the final fight. There will be a respawn point, but no shrine, just before Yellowbrow.

Chapter 4 Story & Boss Achievements
Mud on His Face
An odd yaoguai killed, an odd mirror earned.
This achievement is only available on PC.
Automatic story achievement. This is unlocked by defeating The Right Hand of Buddha in chapter 4.
Gnashing Grudge
Harsh, rash, ever unquelled. Rank, dank, muck-impelled.
This achievement is only available on PC.
Automatic story achievement. This is unlocked by defeating Zhu Bajie in chapter 4.
Passion Passes
Not even one of them looked back.
This achievement is only available on PC.
Automatic story achievement. This is unlocked by defeating the Violet Spider in chapter 4.
Purple Shrines
Misfit with Merit
Never will she see with him the world beyond.
This achievement is only available on PC.
Optional boss achievement. This will unlock after interacting with all 4 purple slips and defeating the Supreme Inspector in chapter 4.
- The Verdure Bridge: Head left and follow the path hugging the left side until you reach a village and watch the cutscene in the upper part.
- Cliff of Oblivion: To the right of the shrine.
- Relief of the Fallen Loong: Head left from the shrine up the hill, turn left inside the cave, and follow the steps up.
- Court of Illumination: Directly behind the shrine is the final purple slip and the boss fight.
Scorpions
A Family Finished
Together at last, the scorpions united.
This achievement is only available on PC and can be missed if you fight The Duskveil boss before The Scorpionlord.
Optional bosses achievement. This will unlock after defeating all 5 scorpion enemies in chapter 4. These include the enemy that drops a spirit and The Scorpionlord in Purple Cloud Mountain.
- Scorpion Prince: From The Verdure Bridge, head left and follow the path hugging the left side until you reach a village.
- Scorpion: On the path from Upper Hollow shrine leading to the Pool of Shattered Jade shrine.
- Scorpion: On the main path starting at The Purifying Spring shrine.
- Relief of the Fallen Loong: Defeat the scorpion to the left of the shrine.
- The Scorpionlord: Break the pots below the scorpion on the roof in Purple Cloud Mountain (see Secret in Purple Cloud below)
Secret Area – Purple Cloud Mountain
Secret in Purple Cloud
"What use are eight arms against twenty strikes with my staff?"
This achievement is only available on PC.
Optional bosses achievement. This will unlock after defeating Venom Daoist twice and unlocking the secret area in chapter 4, Purple Cloud Mountain.
When you reach the Upper Hollow shrine, take the path on the right and hug the left edge. You will reach a spot where wooden boards show there is a path down. Follow that path to the Pool of Shattered Jade shrine. The first encounter with the boss in directly ahead.
Once you find the Court of Illumination shrine (just before the final boss), turn around and go straight, through the next building, and ascend the long path. At the top, there turn left to reach the second boss fight. After defeating the Venom Daoist, a cutscene will play and show how to reach Purple Cloud Mountain. The achievement will pop after entering the zone.
The Wayward Ways
"Is that ugliness a promise of immortality? Better leave it."
This achievement is only available on PC.
Optional boss achievement. This will unlock after completing the quest for the Daoist Mi in Purple Cloud Mountain and defeating him in battle. See Secret in Purple Cloud above for details on reaching the secret zone.
Before fighting The Duskveil, make sure you talk to the NPC standing in front of a building shortly after the Petalfall Hamlet shrine. He asks for an item from one of the villagers. Proceed to kill the yellow-robed enemies until one drops the Violet Hail. Upon returning it to the quest giver, he will attack you.
Secret Area Main Boss
The Cockerel Crowed
Long and short, far and near, each span has its year.
Warning: If you fight this boss before defeating The Scorpionlord, The Scorpionlord will no longer be available to fight and drop its rewards. You will need to kill it during New Game+.
Optional boss achievement/trophy. This will unlock after defeating the main boss in Purple Cloud Mountain of chapter 4, The Duskveil. See Secret in Purple Cloud above for details on reaching the secret zone.

Secret Loong Boss
The Loong Pattern
In the air they swing, yet it’s already ending.
This achievement is only available on PC.
Optional boss achievement. This will unlock after defeating the Cyan Loong in chapter 3. First, you need to progress through the battle with the First Prince of the Flowing Sands in Chapter 2. After the fight, use the Wandering Wight spell to smash the middle of the decorative wall on the left side of the arena. Enter the crack to collect the Loong Scales.
From the Cliff of Oblivion shrine, go passed the Right Hand of Buddha, drop down, and follow the path. As you exit into a larger cavern, drop to the left where you see wood planks and cross the rope bridge. After finding the Relief of the Fallen Loong shrine, head up the stairs on the right and the fight will begin.

Chapter Boss
Chapter 5 Story & Boss Achievements
The Furnace Boy
Ha! A devoted Daoist should not be so polished!
This achievement is only available on PC.
Automatic story achievement. This will unlock after defeating Keeper of the Flaming Mountains in chapter 5.
Secret Area – Bishui Cave
A Willing Warrior
"For his recognition, I’d give my life for him."
This achievement is only available on PC.
Optional bosses achievement. This will unlock after completing the questline for destroying the carts in chapter 5, and accessing the secret area.
- Ashen Pass I: Talk to the Pale-Axe Stalwart after the fight.
- Ashen Pass I: Destroy the Brown-Iron Cart.
- Height of Ember: Destroy the Gray-Bronze Cart.
- Emerald Hall: Destroy the Crimson-Silver Cart.
- Ashen Pass I: Talk to the Pale-Axe Stalwart.
- Emerald Hall: Talk to the Pale-Axe Stalwart where you fought the 3rd cart.
- Valley Entrance: Pull the whip from the broken cart in the lava on the right side of the main path.
- Cooling Slope: Destroy the Rusty-Gold Cart and talk with the quest giver. Then, interact with the ice in the doorway.

Three Teams of Two
The six valiant captains who only fight in number.
This achievement is only available on PC.
Optional bosses achievement. This will unlock after defeating all 3 sets of duo bosses in chapter 5.
- Quick as Fire, Fast as Wind: Automatic boss encounter near Height of Ember.
- Cloudy Mist, Misty Cloud: Automatic story bosses near the Valley Entrance.
- Top Takes Bottom, Bottom Takes Top: Access the secret area in chapter 5. See A Willing Warrior above for details.
Frost and Flame
The merging of ice and fire, swift and severe.
Optional boss achievement/trophy. This will unlock after defeating Bishui Golden-Eyed Beast in the secret level, Bishui Cave. Defeating this boss will unlock the strongest armor set. See A Willing Warrior above for details.

Chapter Boss
Chapter 6 Story & Boss Achievements
The Cloud Claimed
Wings alone pale beside this greater gift!
This achievement is only available on PC.
Automatic story achievement. This will unlock after defeating the Supreme Inspector near the start of chapter 6 and acquiring the Somersault Cloud spell.
Treaded Tracks
"Call off the chase! You’ve crushed every yaoguai here…"
This achievement is only available on PC.
Optional bosses achievement. This should unlock after defeating all bosses in the Foothills of chapter 6. Refer to the Black Myth Wukong Collectibles Guide for a full walkthrough.
Guardian of Gear
You are fully fitted. Now, swing that staff and fight!
Automatic story achievement/trophy. This will unlock after finding all pieces of Wukong’s armor and his staff in chapter 6.
Chapter Boss
Secret Ending
Mei of Memory
Bonds from bygone days still pull at the heart.
This achievement is only available on PC.
Optional bosses achievement. This will unlock after defeating all bosses in Mount Mei, the secret area in chapter 3. Refer to the Black Myth Wukong Collectibles Guide for a full walkthrough.
- Treasure Quest: Complete the Treasure quest in chapter 3.
- Secret Areas Finished: Complete secret areas in chapters 1, 2, 4, and 5.
- The Great Pagoda: From the Pagoda Realm – Snow-Veiled Trail shrine, head down the path on the right, across the rope bridge, and up to a large interactive door.
- Mount Mei: Talk to the NPC at the top of the stairs in the pagoda.

A Spark of Thought
Nothing sparks your talents more than a spark of thought.
This achievement is only available on Consoles.
Spend your 1st Spark in the Self-Advance menu on one of your skills or abilities to unlock this achievement/trophy.
Absorb and Cultivate
Consume those who had consumed.
This achievement is only available on PC.

After defeating Lang-Li-Guhh-Baw near the Village Entrance shrine at the start of chapter 2, give the NPC standing by the rock above it the Evil Repelling Medicament formula. This will unlock the ability to make medications at shrines. The next time you are at a shrine, craft any medication to unlock this achievement or trophy.

Precious Pills
In furnace there is fire, and in fire there are pills.
This achievement is only available on PC.
After defeating the Tiger Vanguard in chapter 2, interact with the switch in front of the giant statue to drain the blood and reveal a path leading to the Cellar shrine. From the shrine, turn right, talk with Xu Dog, and this achievement will unlock.

After defeating the Wandering Wight in chapter 1, new crafting recipes will be available. From a shrine, craft a new weapon or armor.
Pound and Perfect
"Through fire, armor is refined; through trials, strength is defined."
This will unlock by having the blacksmith upgrade a piece of armor in Zodiac Village. After reaching the North Shore of the Bitter Lake shrine in chapter 3, turn around and follow the coastline. On the left, in the water, you will see a dragon wandering. After defeating the Chen Loong boss, talk with him. Then, travel to the Crouching Tiger Temple – Cellar shrine and talk with Xu Dog. He will give you Special-made Bone-strengthening Pellet. Return to the small shack on the shoreline and give Chen Loong the item. This will trigger a cutscene where you will travel to Zodiac Village – Village Entrance. Talk with Yin Tiger and have him upgrade any piece of armor.
Mantled with Might
Shoes on feet, hat on head, embroidered shirt, Daoist robe – free as can be, doing as you please!

- Valley of Ecstasy – Mindfulness Cliff: Drop off the right side and follow the path until just before reaching the top of the boss arena.
- Webbed Hollow – The Purifying Spring: In the next open area with water, drop down to the water and head to the dry land.
- Foothills – Mantis-Catching Swamp: Head up to the elevated plateau to the right of the shrine and look for a narrow crack. Defeat the Giant Shigandang boss and climb on it.

- Valley of Ecstasy – Towers of Karma, Old Ginseng Guai: Continue passed the shrine and to the right. When you see a large pillar, interact with the plants in the area. The one in the middle should be the boss.
- Temple of Yellow Flowers – Court of Illumination, Fungiwoman: From the shrine, turn around and follow the path through a small building and up to a patch of plants. Pull the large one in the middle.
- Field of Fire – Ashen Pass III, Nine-Capped Lingzhi Guai: Head to the right of the shrine and pick the large mushrooms in the middle of the area.
- Field of Fire – Ashen Pass III, Mother of Flamlings: From the Ashen Pass III shrine, head back up the path where the rolling sphere was. Shortly after the gold chest, you will see a new opening on the right. Head down the path and fight Flint Vanguard. Continue down the path in the lower-right area of the boss arena. When you see a large red glow on the ground, interact with it to spawn the boss.

- Bamboo Grove – Snake Trail: Enter the building on the left, jump down to the stream, and head left.
- Sandgate Village – Village Entrance: Enter the ravine to the left, head right into the cave, and out the other side.
- Valley of Ecstasy – Forest of Felicity: Turn around and enter the small cavern on the left or right.
- Webbed Hollow – Lower Hollow: Head left and enter a small crack in the left wall. Follow the path on the left.
- Field of Fire – The Cooling Slope: Search the room when you return from the secret area.
- Foothills – Verdant Path: Fly to the lowest level in the back-right corner from the shrine.
Secret Loong Bosses
The Sire and Sons
"For what deed, must the four waters they governed roam free?"
This achievement is only available on Consoles.
Optional bosses achievement/trophy. This unlocks after defeating all 4 secret dragon bosses. First, you need to progress through the battle with the First Prince of the Flowing Sands in Chapter 2. After the fight, use the Wandering Wight spell to smash the middle of the decorative wall on the left side of the arena. Enter the crack to collect the Loong Scales.

- Red Loong – From the Forest of Wolves – Outside the Forest shrine in chapter 1, stay to the left side as you work your way through the area. Once you reach the waterfall, use the scales to open the path.
- Black Loong – From the Fright Cliff – Rockrest Flat shrine in chapter 2, head up the stairs to the right. Use the scales near the sand waterfall to open the secret path.
- Cyan Loong – When you reach the Turtle Island shrine in chapter 3, turn right and travel to the edge of the island. As you approach a small statue, a cutscene will play and the boss fight will begin.
- Yellow Loong – From the Cliff of Oblivion shrine in chapter 4, go passed the Right Hand of Buddha, drop down, and follow the path. As you exit into a larger cavern, drop to the left where you see wood planks and cross the rope bridge. After finding the Relief of the Fallen Loong shrine, head up the stairs on the right and the fight will begin.

- Bamboo Grove – Snake Trail: Go up the stairs on the right of the shrine.
- Crouching Tiger Temple – Cellar: Slide down the sand to the left of the shrine and take the path on the right.

- Middle of the Hollow or Bonevault: Shortly after leaving the Centipede Guai’s arena, break him out of a large cocoon.
