20G – Acquire Mudtooth’s pocket watch
Precious
20G – Return ring to Reggie
Look for a red/orange glow while exploring the city and dungeons/sewers on Earth. You will need to find the Tarnished Key and give it to Reggie in Ward 13 for the achievement to unlock. To be safe, make sure you talk with Reggie and exhaust his dialog about himself when he mentions missing the ring.
Are You Ok?
20G – Meet the Root Mother
Meet the Root Mother inside the Church of the Harbringer on Earth and agree to help her out. The Meet the Root Mother achievement or trophy will pop as soon as the conversation is completed. Protecting the Root Mother from the enemies will have her agree to move to Ward 13 where she can upgrade your Dragon Heart. She will also reward you with the Mother’s Blessing trait.

Earth Bosses
The Bigger They Are…
30G – Defeat the Ent
Depending on the random roll for Earth in a playthrough, you will either fight the Ent or Singe as the 1st world boss. The Ent is a giant, living tree that slams its feet down creating energy waves that can damage you. Dodge at the last second to avoid these waves. It will frequently summon minions which should be cleared out quickly so they don’t overwhelm you. When the Ent hunches over, get stay on the move since it will fire large Root Rot clouds in your direction. Use a powerful ranged weapon to damage the Ent and a fast short/mid range weapon to take care of the minions.

Fire in the Sky
30G – Defeat Singe
Either the Ent or Singe will spawn in a version of Earth. The other may appear in a re-rolled adventure mode world. Singe is a fire breathing dragon that periodically summons minions. Keep your distance and use strong, ranged weapons. If you have a summon mod, it can help deal additional damage and keep Singe busy while you attack from a safer distance.

Rhom Achievements
Death Warmed Over
20G – Meet the Undying King
Meet with the Undying King while exploring Rhom. He will ask that you bring her the Swamp Guardian’s heart.

Shot Through the Heart
10G – Return the Swamp Guardian’s heart to the Undying King
There is a way to get both Shot Through the Heart and Undying, eh? in a single playthrough. After defeating Ixillis on Corsus, return to Ward 13 and quit. Follow these steps on Xbox to reset the save file to before giving the heart to the king.
- From the pause menu under Options, select Exit to Main Menu
- Close the game in the Xbox OS
- Restart the game
- Use the world stone to travel to Hall of the Undying and give the heart to the king
- After the achievement pops, press the Xbox button
- Select Remnant: From the Ashes
- Press the menu button
- Select Manage Game and addons
- Select Save data
- Choose your save profile
- Select Delete from Console (not Everywhere!)
- Restart the game and you will be in Ward 13 just before giving the heart to the king

Rhom Bosses
Undying, eh?
30G – Defeat the Undying King
Refer to Shot Through the Heart for a method on Xbox to get both achievements in a single playthrough.
For this achievement or trophy, refuse to give the Undying King the heart twice. After the second refusal, he will command his minions to attack. Target priorities are the flying orbs, followed by the minions, and finally the King. Try to damage the king in the head from a distance. If he gets close to you he will deal massive damage that is difficult to mitigate. He will also periodically return to the throne platform to heal and the first time he dies, he will heal up a bit.
This is best done with a high powered weapon, like the Hunting Rifle +10 with the Hot Shot mod. Place Very Good Boy on your other weapon, so you have the dog helping with minions and distracting the King. Just make sure you re-summon the dog every 60 seconds or so.

The Keymaster
30G – Defeat the Claviger
Defeat the Claviger (optional boss that randomly spawns in Rhom) for The Keymaster achievement or trophy to unlock. During the fight, take out the 2 orbs giving Claviger a shield, then focus fire on the head. It will occasionally spawn minions and will periodically spin the floor.

Corsus Achievements
Like a Moth to a Flame
20G – Meet the Swamp Queen
Meet with the Swamp Queen while exploring Corsus. She will also ask that you bring her the Swamp Guardian’s heart.

Corsus Boss
Butterfly Effect
30G – Defeat Ixillis XV
Defeat the world boss of Corsus, Ixillis, to unlock the Butterfly Effect achievement or trophy. During the fight, you will battle 2 Ixillis bosses, one on each side of the bridge. Come equipped with a strong, ranged weapon, like a Hunting Rifle +10 with the Hot Shot mod. Focus fire on the first Ixillis until they both start screaming. This is your opportunity to deal massive damage to both by hitting them in the head and stopping a devastating attack against you.
After the channeling, the Ixillis you were fighting will back away from the bridge and the other will engage. Switch focus to the next Ixillis, but be aware that the further one will fire a beam occasionally which can knock you off the bridge. When they summon whisps, take them out quickly and continue to burn down the bosses. After one of the Ixillis dies, the other will enrage. Finish it off as fast as you can.

Yaesha Achievements
Changing of the Guard
20G – Meet the Pan Rebel Leader
Just after arriving on Yaesha, help the rebels fend off an attack. Then, speak with the Pan Rebel Leader to unlock the Changing of the Guard achievement or trophy.
The Founder
20G – Meet Andrew Ford
After defeating the Yaesha world boss, you will enter The Founder’s Prison. There you will meet Andrew Ford and the achievement or trophy will unlock.
Yaesha Bosses
Watch the Totems!
30G – Defeat the Totem Father
Either the Totem Father or The Ravager will spawn in a version of Yaesha. The other may appear in a re-rolled adventure mode world. Defeat the Totem Father on Yaesha by making sure the totems are quickly destroyed and his minions are cleared. Then, focus fire on the boss while he is on top of a pillar or on the ground.

Wolf of the Woods
30G – Defeat the Pan Wolf
Either the Totem Father or The Ravager will spawn in a version of Yaesha. The other may appear in a re-rolled adventure mode world. Defeat the Ravager to unlock the Wolf of the Woods achievement or trophy. Summons certainly help simplify this fight, letting you spend most of your time at a distance. Getting close to the Ravager can be a frantic mess. Periodically, the Ravager will leave the stage and return with 3 minions on its back. Take out the minions (the summons help here too) before continuing to burn the boss down.

Ward 17
Dark Awakening
50G – Defeat the Dreamer
Defeat the Dreamer/Nightmare boss in Ward 17 to unlock the Dark Awakening achievement or trophy. This boss has 3 phases.
Phase 1
Move out when the Dreamer tries to pull you in. Dodge 2 slams or dodge multiple projectiles. Focus all damage on the Dreamer’s head to enter the 2nd and 3rd phases.
Phase 2
When you first enter phase 2 you will not do any damage to Nightmare. Simply stay at a distance and run/dodge to avoid the ranged attacks. When the boss spins it will enter the 3rd phase.
After returning from phase 3, keep your distance and wait for the initial volley of projectiles. Then, pop your damage mod and attack the Nightmare. After dealing some damage, the Nightmare will open up revealing the Dreamer inside. Dealing damage to the Dreamer will massively drain the boss’s life. You will likely need to repeat this damaging in phase 2 a total of 3 times to kill the boss.

Phase 3
During phase 3, work your way to the gate at the end, but try to get as many kills as possible. Heal often as necessary since you will be taking constant damage in this realm. The more kills you get, the more your shots will damage the boss after returning to phase 2. If you’re using summons, this phase is a good time to summon them since they can help take down the minions fast making phase 2 easier.
Enemy Achievements
Untouchable
20G – Defeat a world boss in offline mode without taking damage
Defeat one of the world bosses while playing in offline mode without taking damage. This is easily done by rerolling Yaesha and playing the Ravager’s lullaby instead of fighting it. When you enter the arena, walk to the left side behind the large pillar in the middle facing away from the Ravager where you can see all 5 bells. Then, starting with the bell directly to your left, number the bells in a capital M-shape and count 1-5. The lullaby needs to be played quickly and may take a few tries. The bell order is: 2 4 2 4 5 3 1 4. After seeing the quest complete message, talk to the Ravager and choose all the top dialog options.

Collecting a second one will reward you with scrap instead which will speed things up a bit. When you’re at the end of the achievements/trophies, start selling old material stacks.
Swamps of Corsus Expansion
DLC Boss
Fall of Iskal
75G – Defeat the Iskal Queen
You will first need to give the heart to the Iskal Queen during your campaign playthrough. Then, reroll Corsus on Adventure mode and search for the Iskal Sanctum. It is mutually exclusive with Fetid Pools, Circlet Hatchery, and Strange Pass. If you see any of those 3 areas, reroll Corsus. When you first talk to the queen, she will thank you for giving her the heart and she will reward you with the Cryptolith Sigil which can unlock the random towers seen in Adventure mode for traits and armor. After receiving the sigil, challenge the queen to fight.
The easiest way to take the queen out is to go for her alternate reward by killing her at the start of phase 2. Before the fight, head to Ward 13 and buy a stack of Greenleaf from Reggie to heal corrosion.
Phase 1
Try to stick to the middle of the room as much as possible. She will open with a large swarm of insects on the ground. Take these out with AoE, like the mod on the Hive Cannon while you attack the queen from a distance. Periodically, she will toss 2 corrosive clouds at your location, so simple dodge out of the way and keep moving. She will also attack an insect to your arm. When this happens, listen for a chirp noise and immediately dodge away since the insect will explode.
When she raises her staff, she will do a large attack down the middle of the room. If her wings glow, they will cover both sides of the arena in corrosion that will likely kill you if you are too far from the center. Once her health drops by a third, she will summon another swarm of insects which will be followed shortly by phase 2.
Phase 2
When the queen gets stunned, she is about to start phase 2. Run over to the puddle on the left side of the room and line up the drip from above so it is between you and the queen. She will say, “Enough“, then stun you as she jumps down to the arena floor. Once you have control again, aim for her head and make her fall. Immediately, look up at the ceiling and shoot down the stalactite to fall and kill her, ending the fight early and unlocking the Footwork trait and the achievement or trophy.

Automatic story achievement/trophy. When you arrive in Reisum, you will briefly meet Clementine. A short distance into the area, past the world stone, the achievement or trophy will unlock.
Nemesis
75G – Defeat the Final Boss
The final boss of the game is Harsgaard, and the battle is broken up in 3 phases. During the transition, a cutscene will play and you will receive the Fusion Rifle which can be used to kill the boss if you choose.
If you die, you will respawn that the Ward Prime world crystal. Go back to the red portal in the Main Bay to switch realities and then go through the boss portal. Make sure you enter the portal from the opposite side so you are facing the boss when you enter the arena.
Phase 1
During the first phase, Harsgaard will start in the middle of the room and attack from there. When you see dozens of red orbs floating, continue to shoot the boss while side stepping to make sure the orbs don’t explode. If you see 2 of the red stones on opposite sides of the boss glow, they are about to shoot a beam as Harsgaard rotates clockwise. Move clockwise so you stay in the safe zone and watch for periodic volleys of projectiles. If you get too close to the boss, it will slam one of its arms down at you which may be dodged. When the stones around the boss connect with a beam, they will raise up and slam down 3 times in increasing distance from Harsgaard. Wait on the outside until the second slam, then moving in closer watching for more projectile volleys.
Phase 2
When the boss reaches half health, it will start moving around the room. Pay close attention to its movements since it will telegraph any melee attacks. Some melee combos will chain for 3-4 attacks. You will see the projectile volleys and the floating red orbs again. Additionally, if all arms raise up, be ready to dodge to the side to avoid a wave of energy coming toward you. Use any downtime you can to heal or collect ammo, just be aware what the boss is doing so you don’t miss an attack.
Phase 3
Once Harsgaard’s health is depleted, you will see the cutscene where you receive the Fusion Rifle. After the scene, Harsgaard, Root Harbringer will be much larger and stationary on the opposite side of the arena. There are 3 main attacks to watch for. When the arms raise up and glow, they are preparing to slam down. The slam may be a quick shockwave or it may be held for a few seconds. The lower arms will slam near the boss and the upper arms will slam near the back of the arena.
The second attack to watch for are red spheres that line up in front of the boss. Pay attention to the order they appear in, since they will fire devastating beams across the arena in that order. Stand in front of the latter beams and dodge to the early beam paths immediately after they fire. The third primary attack are the exploding red spheres from the earlier phases. They are usually in tandem with a prolonger arm slam on the opposite side of the arena (pictured below). Stay on the side with the spheres and avoid getting hit by them. The held arm slams may also be paired with the beam spheres.

Defeating Harsgaard will reward you with the Last Resort trait and the Nemesis achievement or trophy.
Exploration

While exploring and trying to activate Ward Prime, you will come across 4 recording.
- The first recording is inside the Observatory in the Main Bay.
- Locate the second recording inside the Medical Bay behind a bookshelf.
- The third recording is in the small maintenance room to the right of the Reactor.

Lockdown
50G – Visit the Homestead Basement
When you first arrive at Ward Prime, hug the right wall and go inside an office with a computer. Pickup the Homestead Basement Key on the shelves then head back to the Homestead world stone. Go inside the homestead, break bookshelves next to the stairs, and head down to the basement they reveal. Then, use the key on the door to unlock the achievement or trophy.
Hard Bargain
25G – Make a Deal with Sebum
In the Snow area of Reisum, look for a Packmaster (random spawn) special enemy who drops the Packmaster Tusk. Then, look for an area called Frieran Sea. There you will find a large boat. Before getting on the boat, go around the left side, breaking a few boxes, and climb up the scaffolding. Peak through the window by pressing X/Square and you will see the Warlord armor set. Now go on the boat and talk with Sebum (has 2 heads) and choose the following dialog options to unlock the achievement or trophy. After the conversation, you can go below deck and collect the armor, but it will not count toward the armor collection achievements.
- I’m looking for someone – a human like me.
- What kind of deal?
- I have the tusk, what about the armor below deck?
- This tusk for that armor.
That’s it for the Remnant: From the Ashes achievements & trophies guide. Please post any questions or comments below. Thanks.
