Space Marine 2 Single Player Operations
At launch, Warhammer 40k Space Marine 2 does not have an option to directly play Operations mode as a solo player. However, there is a way to do so if you don’t enjoy getting matched with random players.
Warning: Do not disconnect entirely from the internet. The game needs to remove you from the matchmaking services, but it still needs to connection to the progression service to track your progress.
These steps are based on the Xbox experience, and similar steps may be taken on PS5 and PC.
- Boot up the game and Continue your game.
- While the game is outside of any menus, suspend the app (Xbox/PS home screen or tab out of the game on PC).
- Put the console or PC to sleep, then wake it up.
- Resume the game and the connection with the server should have timed out.
- Choose Continue Offline (B/Circle) to remain in Offline mode while you are still connected to the internet.
- You should see Offline Mode in the bottom right corner of the screen.
- Play any Operations mode maps you want with 2 NPCs.
