Welcome to the Prince of Persia The Lost Crown Maze of Books puzzle solution guide. This guide will walk you through how to solve all 4 rooms inside the Sacred Archives.

Maze of Books Puzzle
During the main quest, The Path to the Sand Prison, you will need to collect a new time power from the Sacred Archives in the northwest corner of the map. To reach the room with the clairvoyance feather, head to the upper level of the archives. Then, move all the way to the left, down, and finally to the right. Once you are below the room, work your way up.
Lower Left Room
Start by going in the room on the lower left part of the area. Once you’re inside, you will need to use 2 time echoes to assist in opening a gateway so you can collect the tablet. The order of these two echoes doesn’t matter. Have one jump from the left wall to the lever on the right and hold until the timer runs out. Repeat the process with the lever on the left side. Then, run over with the 3rd try and collect the tablet. Doing so will open the upper left and lower right doors.
Upper Left Room
This room is tricky. Send the first time echo through the pathway until you reach the lower left part of the final corridor. When you reach the area, press LB/L1 to drop a shadow and wait for the time to expire. As soon as you gain control of the 2nd time echo, press LB/L1 to warp to the shadow’s location, scale the wall, jump to the bar, and stand on the plate to open the gate. Finally, work your way to the central platform and be ready to jump through the gate when it opens and collect the tablet.
Lower Right Room
At the start, send the 1st time echo to hang from the lever on the right wall until the clock reaches 6-7 seconds. Then, jump from the lever and stand on the pressure plate for the remainder of the time. Next, have the 2nd time echo jump from the central-right wall, to the central-left platform and hang from the lever on the left.
Complete the puzzle by jumping to the center-right wall, the center-left platform, the center-left wall, the upper-right platform and climb your way to the tablet at the top of the area. Finally, collect the prize to move on.
Upper Right Room
As soon as the clock starts, run to the right and fall straight down. Continue to the right and stand on the pressure plate. When the clock reaches 3 seconds, step off the plate and wait for it to expire.
Send the 2nd echo down the first hole and slide down the short wall on the right. When you start falling, dash to the right and hopefully you will land on the platform created by the 1st echo’s pressure plate. Next, ascend the central shaft and flip the switch. Then, quickly work your way back down to the platform. When the clock reaches 3.5 seconds, jump or jump + dash to the right. You should move through the gate just after it opens. Be ready to press LB/L1 to drop a shadow on the right side of the gate, above the platform.
Move as quick as you can into position where you can see the shadow. As soon as the pressure plate triggers the platform to extend, press LB/L1 to warp to the shadow’s position. Next, jump on the wall to the left and continue to jump back to it until the switch is flipped, extending a new wall on the right. Once you see it, jump to the right wall and finish ascending to the top of the room. Then, collect the final tablet.
After the 4 rooms are complete, the barriers blocking the blue door will vanish, allowing you to enter. Collect the feather inside the room and unlock the Clairvoyance skill to continue your journey.
