Story Achievements
Early Game Bosses
The Forest Trespasser
30G – Defeat the otherworldly queen
Automatic story achievement/trophy. Fight the 2nd main boss, Kiana, while exploring Soma Tree during the main quest, The Path to the Sand Prison. Defeating this boss will reward you with a Soma Tree Flower and the feather, Dimensional Claw. Return to the tree and talk with Chamrosh to receive the Turning Wind amulet.

Snake in the Sand
40G – Defeat the banished god
Automatic story achievement/trophy. Fight the 3rd main boss, Azhdaha, while exploring the Pit of Eternal Sands at the end of the main quest, The Darkest of Souls. Defeating this boss will reward you with a Soma Tree Flower and 4 Celestial Arrows. After taking care of the 1st celestial guardian, return to Azhdaha and receive the next feather, Gravity Wings.

Mid Game Bosses
Fists & Arrows
40G – Defeat the artful legend
Automatic story achievement/trophy. Fight the 4th main boss, Menolias, while exploring the Upper City during the main quest, The Celestial Guardians. Defeating this boss will reward you with the Chakram Shadow of the Simurgh skill and the Rashnu’s Judgement Athra Surge. After the fight, move into the room on the left to collect a Soma Tree Petal.
The fight against Menolias is significantly tougher than previous boss battles, since he primarily uses ranged attacks. The best way to get an opening is to dodge the red attacks and destroy the slow-moving projectiles. Then, deflect (LT/L2) the volley of yellow arrows and run in for some hits.

The Storm Master
40G – Defeat the mighty master
Automatic story achievement/trophy. Fight the 5th main boss, Orod, while exploring the Raging Sea during the main quest, The Celestial Guardians. Defeating this boss will reward you with the Bahamut’s Rage Athra Surge. After the fight, move to the next area to the right and collect a Soma Tree Petal.

The White Lion
40G – Defeat the vengeful prince
Late Game Bosses
The End of Time
70G – Defeat the god prince
Automatic story achievement/trophy. Fight the final boss, Vahram, while exploring the Upper City at the end of the main quest, Crossroads of Time. This battle is divided into 4 phases and is challenging to overcome. Each phase ends when Vahram’s life bar is fully depleted. During the fight, Vahram will fire volleys of yellow projectiles at you which should be parried with RT/R2 for extra damage against the boss. When you see he surrounded by a large crystal, move in quickly and destroy the crystal to remove his protective layer.
When Vahram enters the 2nd phase, he will pull out a sword and begin using it to attack. During the 3rd phase, you will fight the boss and his clone. Use the anchor points in the air (RB/R1) to reach Vahram and deal damage. If you can make it to the end of the 3rd phase, the final phase is much easier. At the start of the 4th phase, you will power up and refill your life bar, making the final phase a satisfying end to the battle.
After the story wraps up, you can reload your save and continue exploring the map to mop up any remaining achievements or trophies.

Battle Achievements

Air Dancer
15G – Eliminate 30 enemies in the air

This is best done by either running and knocking them into spikes (hold RT/R2 to run and press X/Square to attack), or by launching them in the air (Up + X/Square) to hit spikes above.
