Recommended Playthroughs
- Radiant – In your initial playthrough, focus on finding all weapons, armor, accessories, and spells that you can while cleansing the beacons. When you’re finished, move on to New Game +0 Reset.
- Inferno – Next, go to New Game+0 and leave the beacons alone. Doing so will give you access to questlines that were blocked by cleansing the beacons. Complete Kukajin and Damarose’s questlines.
- Umbral – Finally, in another New Game +0, focus on the requirements for the Umbral Ending, Exacter Dunmire’s questline, and the Iron Wayfarer’s quest.

Radiant Playthrough
Abandoned Redcopse
Holy Bulwark Otto – Defeat the first mini boss in the game.
Lightreaper – The Lightreaper will pop in after defeating the Holy Bulwark Otto. Don’t kill the Lightreaper yet. Let him kill you and retrieve your vigor for the A Veil Lifted and Lost and Found achievements or trophies.
Isaac – After the first boss fight, head out of the arena and turn right to collect the Flayed Skin.
Skyrest Bridge
Iron Wayfarer – Talk with the Iron Wayfarer shortly before the fight with Pieta and plant the seed he gives you for the Thriving in Darkness achievement or trophy.
Pieta, She of Blessed Renewal – Defeat the first main boss of the game, Pieta, and unlock the Rise and Fall achievement or trophy.
Stomund – Meet Stomund for the 1st time when you reach the Skyrest Bridge sanctuary.
Molhu – Meet Molhu in Umbral when you 1st reach the sanctuary.
Andreas of Ebb – Meet Andreas overlooking the region just outside the sanctuary.
Thehk-Ihir – Meet Thehk-Ihir as you’re leaving Skyrest Bridge on the way to Pilgrim’s Perch.
Pilgrim’s Perch
Tortured Prisoner – When you reach the first vestige, take the lower path outside the room and follow it until you open the shortcut back to Skyrest Bridge. Next, head up the spiral staircase and meet the Tortured Prisoner. Interact with her while she is in her cell and you won’t understand what she says. Then, enter Umbral and head back down the stairs. Soulflay 3 Umbral pods (above the gazebo, below the bridge, and up the ladder) to open the path at the top of the ladder and collect the Searing Accusation catalyst inside. Then, give it to her. After resting, she will move to Pieta’s arena.
Scourged Sister Delyth – Defeat Scourged Sister Delyth after taking the path above the first vestige in the area.
Byron – Meet Byron for the 1st time when you reach the Vestige of Blind Agatha.
Molhu – Work your way down to the lower level which requires you to be in the Umbral world to land at the bottom of a ladder. In the middle of that platform, use Soulflay and collect the Bowl of Revelations. Then, return to Skyrest Bridge and give the bowl to Molhu in the Umbral world. This will unlock The Past Shapes the Present achievement or trophy.
Gerlinde & Sparky – Free Gerlinde shortly before fighting the Mistress of Hounds just below the elevator. Then talk with her in Skyrest Bridge.
Gentle Gaverus, Mistress of Hounds – Defeat the Mistress of the Hounds boss.
Forsaken Fen
Thehk-Ihir – Talk with Thehk-Ihir just before fighting the Congregator of Flesh at the start of Forsaken Fen.
The Congregator of Flesh – Defeat the Congregator of Flesh and unlock the Together in Death achievement or trophy.
Byron – Talk with Byron when you reach the Vestige of Valade in Forsaken Fen.
Kukajin – Free Kukajin from petrification with the Cleansing Spring radiant spell. Then talk with her in Skyrest Bridge. She can be beckoned to help with specific boss battles and needs to be paid after each encounter. During this playthrough, you need to kill a boss with her and fail to pay for her services. This will force her to become a boss in Upper Calrath.
Mendacious Visage – Defeat the Mendacious Visage boss.
Andreas of Ebb – After defeating the Mendacious Visage, return to Skyrest Bridge and talk with Andreas to receive the Fief Key.
(Optional) Kukajin – Beckon Kukajin to help with The Hushed Saint boss fight, but don’t pay her.
The Hushed Saint – Defeat The Hushed Saint and unlock the Burying the Past achievement or trophy.
Beacon – Cleanse the beacon in the boss arena.
Thehk-Ihir – Talk with Thehk-Ihir next to the Vestige of the Pale Butcher after fight The Hushed Saint. He show up in the Skyrest Bridge sanctuary next and remain there for a while.
Fitzroy’s Gorge
Crimson Rector Percival – Defeat Crimson Rector Percival after taking the path on the left at the first intersection.
Drustan – Meet Drustan by using the Umbral lap to walk up a ramp on the right just after crossing a long Umbral bridge.
Cracked Rune Tablet – On a cliff just below the location where you first meet Drustan.
Gerlinde & Sparky – Return the Cracked Rune Tablet to Gerline in Skyrest Bridge.
Ruiner – Defeat the Ruiner boss on the bridge.
Lightreaper – The Lightreaper will attack in an arena past the bridge. Don’t kill the Lightreaper yet.
Lower Calrath
Isaac – View the stigma at the start of the region and receive the Wooden Dark Crusader Cross.
Infernal Enchantress – Defeat the Infernal Enchantress at the start of the region.
Drustan – Talk with Drustan under the Vestige of Lydia the Numb Witch and give him some Unripe Berries. He will teach you a new gesture.
Spurned Progeny – Defeat the Spurned Progeny and unlock the Unwanted achievement or trophy.
Tortured Prisoner – Return to the Tortured Prisoner in Pieta’s arena and give her the Giant Eyeball.
Upper Calrath
Chipped Rune Tablet – Inside a house in Upper Calrath in the fireplace on the way to Sunken Skein.
Gerlinde & Sparky – Return the Chipped Rune Tablet to Gerline in Skyrest Bridge.
Sunless Skein
Byron – Talk with Byron next to the 2nd vestige after draining the water in the previous room.
Cistern
Skinstealer – Defeat the Skinstealer boss, but do not use the elevator behind it yet.
Lower Water – Use the key from the Skinstealer boss to open the door in the sewers and lower the water level. Doing so will give you access to Revelation Depths.
Bringer of Stillness, Bringer of Nullity, & Bringer of Silence – Defeat the set of 3 Bringer bosses in the lower area of the Cistern below the Skinstealer while in Umbral.
Revelation Depths
Winterberry – From the bridge shortcut, head into the small alcove with a shrine and destroy the barrier on the left. Then, follow the path and talk with Winterberry.
Byron – Return to Byron in Sunless Skein and tell him about Winterberry.
(Optional) Kukajin – Beckon Kukajin to help with the Harrower Dervla boss fight, but don’t pay her.
Harrower Dervla and The Unbroken Promise – Defeat the bosses at the end of Revelation Depths and unlock the Unbroken to the End achievement or trophy.
Byron – Return to Skyrest Bridge and head into the depths below where you initially found the Tortured Prisoner. Byron and Winterberry will be located by the gazebo near the bridge. Talk to Byron to receive an eye and complete his quest which unlocks the Moving On achievement or trophy.
Upper Calrath (2nd Visit)
Tortured Prisoner – While exploring the market streets, collect the Noblewoman armor set. Then, return to the Spurned Progeny boss arena while wearing the Noblewoman set and talk with her again. Rest so she can move to the next location.
Tortured Prisoner – Continue playing until you reach the beacon in Upper Calrath. Just before the beacon, you will find the Tortured Prisoner leaning against some bars. Speak with her again to receive the Elegant Perfume.
Beacon – Cleanse the beacon.
Kukajin – Defeat Kukajin in the courtyard with the large tree if you failed to pay her for a previous boss encounter. Otherwise, you will see a skinstealer in the courtyard.
Shortcut – Unlock the shortcut back to Skyrest Bridge. This is required to reach Bramis Castle in the late game.
Fief of the Chill Curse
Warning: Do not open the bell door to the Fief of the Chill Curse area until after you meet Drustan in Lower Calrath.
Kinrangr Guardian Folard – Defeat Kinrangr Guardian Folard on the way to Fief of the Chill Curse.
Isaac – View the stigma near the start of the region.
Griefbound Rowena – Defeat Griefbound Rowena in the chapel on the left side of the main path while working back toward the first vestige.
Drustan – After passing through an Umbral gate into a barnyard. Talk with Drustan under a covered area of the yard. Then, light the fire to warm him up.
Thehk-Ihir – Talk with Thehk-Ihir next to the Vestige of Loash before the boss fight.
(Optional) Kukajin – Beckon Kukajin to help with The Hollow Crow boss fight, but don’t pay her.
The Hollow Crow – Defeat the Hollow Crow and unlock the Wings of Grief achievement or trophy.
Beacon – Cleanse the beacon at the top of the tower after the boss arena.
Lightreaper – The Lightreaper will attack in an arena past the beacon. Don’t kill the Lightreaper yet.
Isaac – View the stigma on the path after the Lightreaper arena.
Path of Devotion
Thehk-Ihir – Talk with Thehk-Ihir next to the Vestige of Dieter at the start of the region.
Isaac – View the stigma on a small hill where you find the Anvil Hammer just before making a sharp left on the main path.
Paladin’s Burden – Shortly after viewing the final stigma of Isaac, you will find another small hill before the path makes a sharp right into some crossbow enemies. Instead, turn left and move into the Umbral World. There you will find a path to an arena with another stigma. Interact with it and defeat the Paladin’s Burden boss to receive Umbral-Tinged Flayed Skin.
Isaac – Travel back to the dead end path in Abandoned Redcopse at the start of the game where you found the Flayed Skin and open a new path in the Umbral World to the Paladin’s Armor set.
Pilgrim’s Perch (2nd Visit)
The Sacred Resonance of Tenacity – Defeat The Sacred Resonance of Tenacity after opening the bell door near the Vestige of Blind Agatha. Make sure you kill the parasite and all the followers so you can damage the boss.
Manse of the Hallowed Brothers
Thehk-Ihir – Talk with Thehk-Ihir next to the Vestige of Brother Jeremiah across from the kitchen.
Damaged Standard – In the large courtyard that is split in 2 by a long walkway, use your lamp on the right side under the stairs to reveal a path leading to the Damaged Standard.
Abiding Defender – Defeat the Abiding Defenders on the platform above the large, split courtyard.
Tower of Penance
Blessed Carrion Knight Sanisho – Defeat Blessed Carrion Knight Sanisho in the bridge leading to the Tower of Penance. Make sure you kill the parasite attached to the knight in Umbral.
Rune Tablet – Chest on the main grated floor in the Tower of Penance.
Gerlinde & Sparky – Give the Rune Tablet to Sparky for the Travels Resumed achievement or trophy to pop. Giving Sparking the final tablet will anger Gerlinde and she will raise prices after that. So, you may want to hold off on giving him the tablet until a bit later in your playthrough once you have upgraded the gear you plan to use.
(Optional) Kukajin – Beckon Kukajin to help with the Tancred boss fight, but don’t pay her.
Tancred and Reinhold the Immured – Defeat the Tancred and Reinhold the Immured and unlock the Twin Faces of Sin achievement or trophy.
Beacon – Use the key from the boss to open the door to the elevator and take is all the way to the top of the tower to cleanse the beacon.
Abbey of the Hallowed Sisters
Stomund – Just before entering the Abbey of the Hallowed Sisters, talk with Stomund about going inside.
Abbess Ursula – Defeat Abbess Ursula at the start of the region.
Thehk-Ihir – Talk with Thehk-Ihir next to the Vestige of Rosamund after defeating Abbess Ursula.
Stomund – On the 2nd level of the courtyard with the large tree. Take a right at the top of the stairs. He will ask you to help with the banner.
Tattered Banner – Before interacting with the rune to initiate the boss fight at the end of the area, go up the stairs on the left and out onto the balcony. In the Umbral World, collect the Saintly Quintessence and defeat the Abbess that spawns nearby to collect the Tattered Banner. Return the banner to Stomund.
Rapturous Huntress of the Dusk – Defeat Rapturous Huntress of the Dusk at the top of the abbey.
The Empyrean
Stomund – Near the top of the stairs before unlocking the large double doors, find his impaled remains. Collect his gear and the Faithful achievement or trophy will unlock.
(Optional) Kukajin – Beckon Kukajin to help with the Judge Cleric boss fight, but don’t pay her. This is your last chance to fight with her and not pay her.
Judge Cleric, the Radiant Sentinel – Defeat the Judge Cleric and unlock the Judgement achievement or trophy.
Thehk-Ihir – If you met with him at all the locations listed, you will find the Thorned Chalice just after defeating the Judge Cleric boss in The Empyrean which will unlock the Without Purpose achievement or trophy.
Beacon – Cleanse the beacon behind the boss arena.
Upper Calrath (3rd Visit)
Kukajin – Defeat Kukajin in the courtyard with the large tree if you failed to pay her for a previous boss encounter. Otherwise, you will see a skinstealer in the courtyard.
Andreas of Ebb – Before heading toward the castle, talk with Andreas in Skyrest Bridge and he will ask you to help him find a book of his heritage. Next, head toward the shortcut entrance beyond the arena where you fought Pieta. View the new stigma just inside the shortcut door and receive the book. Then, return it to Andreas in Skyrest Bridge before continuing on.
Andreas of Ebb – Talk with Andreas just outside the Lightreaper arena. He will offer to help out with the fight. Start the battle with the Lightreaper, but let it kill you.
Lightreaper – When you fight the Lightreaper die during your initial attempt. Then, summon Isaac and defeat the boss to unlock the Vengeful Reflection achievement or trophy and the Dark Crusader class.
Andreas of Ebb – Rest after defeating the Lightreaper. Then, continue into the alley behind the Lightreaper’s arena to fight Andreas and unlock the Antana’s Legacy achievement or trophy.
Warning: Make sure all beacons are cleansed before continuing on.
The Iron Wayfarer – Defeat The Iron Wayfarer in front of the gate to Bramis Castle.
Bramis Castle
Damarose the Marked – Defeat Damarose shortly after entering Bramis Castle.
Drustan – After entering the burning area, you will need to pass through a wall of fire in Umbral to open an Umbral gate. Work your way into the broken tower on the right, view Drustan’s stigma, and collect his belongings.
Tortured Prisoner – Look for the Charred Letter while walking up a staircase on the way to the vestige. After finding the vestige, return to the prisoner in Upper Calrath near the beacon and give her the letter. She will move next to the vestige in the castle.
Tortured Prisoner – Continue exploring the castle until you get to the royal bedroom and collect the Swaddling Cloth. Give her the close as soon as you can and don’t fight The Sundered Monarch before doing so.
Sundered Monarch – Defeat the Sundered Monarch and unlock The King is Dead achievement or trophy. While fighting the boss, make sure you equip and use the Elegant Perfume on him (preferably after 50% health).
Tortured Prisoner – After the fight, interact with the Tortured Prisoner and complete her quest. Once the A Queen’s Rest achievement or trophy pops, return to the vestige and collect her gear where she was previously standing.
Drustan – Head up to the Effigy of Adyr and view the final stigma in Drustan’s questline to unlock the Hero Worship achievement or trophy.
Adyr, the Bereft Exile – After defeating The Sundered Monarch, interact with the effigy at the top of the stairs and choose to enter Rhogar. Defeat Adyr and unlock the Fallen achievement or trophy.
Inferno Playthrough
Warning: Don’t cleanse any beacons in this playthrough.
Abandoned Redcopse
Lightreaper – The Lightreaper will pop in after defeating the Holy Bulwark Otto. Don’t kill the Lightreaper yet.
Pilgrim’s Perch
Damarose – Meet Damarose the Marked for the 1st time just before fighting the Scourged Sister Delyth boss.
Damarose – Talk with Damarose just before fighting the Mistress of Hounds boss after freeing the blacksmith.
Forsaken Fen
Kukajin – Free Kukajin from petrification with the Cleansing Spring radiant spell. Then talk with her in Skyrest Bridge.
Kukajin – Beckon Kukajin to help with The Hushed Saint boss fight. Then, return to Skyrest Bridge to pay her 3000 for her services.
Fitzroy’s Gorge
Damarose – Before fighting Crimson Rector Percival, find and talk with Damarose standing on the cliffside across the gorge from Percival.
Damarose – After defeating the Ruiner boss on the bridge, switch to Umbral and follow the path off the bridge toward the Shrine of Adyr. There, you can talk with Damarose again.
Lightreaper – The Lightreaper will attack in an arena past the bridge. Don’t kill the Lightreaper yet.
Lower Calrath
Infernal Enchantress – Defeat the Infernal Enchantress to receive her flesh.
Spurned Progeny – Defeat the Spurned Progeny to receive her flesh.
Upper Calrath & Sunless Skein
Work through Upper Calrath and Sunless Skein.
Cistern
Damarose – Lower the water level, head into the next chamber, and collect the Adyr-Worshipper’s Saw. Return this to Damarose at the Shrine of Adyr to continue her quest and expand her inventory with Rhogar’s Reach and Adyr’s Endurance.
Revelation Depths
Kukajin – Beckon Kukajin to help with the Harrower Dervla boss fight. Then, return to Skyrest Bridge to pay her 7000 for her services.
Upper Calrath (2nd Visit)
Shortcut – Unlock the shortcut back to Skyrest Bridge. This is required to reach Bramis Castle in the late game.
Fief of the Chill Curse
Kukajin – Beckon Kukajin to help with The Hollow Crow boss fight. Then, return to Skyrest Bridge to pay her 6000 for her services.
Lightreaper – The Lightreaper will attack in an arena past the beacon. Don’t kill the Lightreaper yet.
Pilgrim’s Perch (2nd Visit) & Manse of the Hallowed Brothers
Work through Pilgrim’s Perch and Manse of the Hallowed Brothers.
Tower of Penance
Kukajin – Beckon Kukajin to help with the Tancred boss fight. Then, return to Skyrest Bridge to pay her 7500 for her services.
Abbey of the Hallowed Sisters
Rune of Adyr – Defeat Rapturous Huntress of the Dusk and receive the Rune of Adyr.
The Empyrean
Kukajin – Beckon Kukajin to help with the Judge Cleric boss fight. Then, return to Skyrest Bridge to pay her 8500 for her services.
Upper Calrath (3rd Visit)
Kukajin – Beckon Kukajin to help with the Lightreaper boss fight. Then, return to Skyrest Bridge to pay her 8500 for her services.
Lightreaper – Defeat the Lightreaper boss and receive its flesh.
Damarose – Return all 3 flesh samples to Damarose at the Shrine of Adyr. She will now sell 3 rare rings for 3000 each.
Bramis Castle
Damarose – After you open the gate in Upper Calrath that leads to Bramis Castle, Damarose will move to her boss room in the area. Talk with her near the fire and exhaust her dialog. If you haven’t already done so, buy out the remainder of her rare items.
Kukajin – Beckon Kukajin to help with the Sundered Monarch boss fight. Then, return to Skyrest Bridge to pay her 9000 for her services. Rest after exhausting her final dialog and collect her gear to unlock the A Trace of Venom achievement or trophy.
Damarose – Collect Damarose’s gear in front of the Effigy of Adyr above the thrones after killing the Sundered Monarch in the castle. This will unlock the Part of the Divine achievement or trophy.
Inferno Ending – After defeating The Sundered Monarch, interact with the effigy at the top of the stairs which will change the Rune of Adyr into the Empowered Rune of Adyr. Use the rune on the beacons located in Forsaken Fen, Upper Calrath, Fief of the Chill Curse, Tower of Penance, and The Empyrean. Next, interact with Judge Cleric in front on The Empyrean’s beacon and talk with Iselle to unlock the Lords of the Risen achievement or trophy just before the credits roll.
Umbral Playthrough
Warning: Don’t cleanse any beacons in this playthrough.
Abandoned Redcopse
Iron Wayfarer – Meet the Iron Wayfarer next to the Vestige of Hannelore.
Skyrest Bridge
Iron Wayfarer – Talk with the Iron Wayfarer shortly before fighting Pieta where he teaches about vestige seeds.
Dunmire – Talk with Exacter Dunmire when you 1st reach the Skyrest Bridge sanctuary.
Pilgrim’s Perch
Damarose – Meet Damarose the Marked for the 1st time just before fighting the Scourged Sister Delyth boss.
Bloody Aspergillum – Pickup the item at the base of a statue when you enter the arena where you fight Scourged Sister Delyth. Return the aspergillum to Dunmire.
Hallowed Sentinel Scripture – Found in a small cage near the top of Pilgrim’s Perch on a platform where you fight almost a dozen enemies. Return the scripture to Dunmire.
Molhu – Work your way down to the lower level which requires you to be in the Umbral world to land at the bottom of a ladder. In the middle of that platform, use Soulflay and collect the Bowl of Revelations. Then, return to Skyrest Bridge and give the bowl to Molhu in the Umbral world. If you don’t get this early on, you will not have the option to purchase Elianne’s gear.
Book of Sin – Soulflay an Umbral Belly in the lower structures of Pilgrim’s Perch. Return the book to Dunmire.
Gerlinde & Sparky – Free Gerlinde shortly before fighting the Mistress of Hounds.
Damarose – Talk with Damarose just before fighting the Mistress of Hounds boss after freeing the blacksmith.
Forsaken Fen
Iron Wayfarer – Talk to the Iron Wayfarer in an underwater section on the way to the Mendacious Visage boss.
Vanguard Barros’ Rosary – Inside one of the shacks that unlock after defeating the Mendacious Visage boss in Forsaken Fen. Return the rosary to Dunmire.
Fitzroy’s Gorge
Damarose – Before fighting Crimson Rector Percival, find and talk with Damarose standing on the cliffside across the gorge from Percival.
Crimson Rector Percival – Defeat Crimson Rector Percival to have the chance at unlocking the Laughing gesture from Damarose.
Damarose – After defeating the Ruiner boss on the bridge, switch to Umbral and follow the path off the bridge toward the Shrine of Adyr. There, you can talk with Damarose again.
Lower Calrath
Iron Wayfarer – When you reach the Vestige of Lydia the Numb Witch, go back outside and down the ladder. Then, talk with the Iron Wayfarer to the left of the opposite side of the bridge.
Ravager Gregory’s Rosary – From the Vestige of Lydia the Numb Witch, take the ladder shortcut up and then the small ramp that leads to the rooftop. Then, collect the rosary from the impaled body on the roof and return it to Dunmire.
Upper Calrath
Iron Wayfarer – View the stigma in the market street and talk with the Iron Wayfarer after. Make sure you rest after interacting with him, so he will show up in the next location.
Iron Wayfarer – Enter the lit doorway and talk with the Iron Wayfarer just outside the courtyard with a large tree. There is another stigma of him to view here.
Umbral Tome – While traveling through Upper Calrath on the way to Sunless Skein you will descend a tall spiral staircase. At the top of the stairs, switch to Umbral and enter the door above the stairs to the right to locate the tome. Dunmire will move next to Molhu after giving him the tome. This will be given to Dunmire later in his questline.
Sunless Skein & Cistern
Work your way through the Sunless Skein and Cistern.
Revelation Depths
Dark Crusader’s Call – Reward for defeating the Harrower Dervla and The Unbroken Promise bosses. Return the item to Dunmire.
Well – Defeat the Harrower Dervla boss to open up the option to interact with the well above the altar. Next, buy the Umbral Scouring Clump from Molhu in Skyrest Bridge. Then, interact with the well and use the Umbral Scouring Clumps.
Mother’s Lull
As you enter Mother’s Lull, the Wayfarer achievement or trophy will pop.
Damarose’s Seedpod: Interact with the follower to receive the seedpod for Damarose. Return to the Shrine of Adyr and use the seedpod on Damarose.
Gerlinde’s Seedpod: Interact with the follower again to receive the seedpod for Gerlinde. Return to the Skyrest Bridge and use the seedpod on Gerlinde.
Upper Calrath (2nd Visit)
Iron Wayfarer – View the stigma in the market street and talk with the Iron Wayfarer after. Make sure you rest after interacting with him, so he will show up in the next location.
Iron Wayfarer – Enter the lit doorway and talk with the Iron Wayfarer just outside the courtyard with a large tree. There is another stigma of him to view here.
Shortcut – Unlock the shortcut back to Skyrest Bridge. This is required to reach Bramis Castle in the late game.
Pilgrim’s Perch (2nd Visit)
Make your way to Manse of the Hallowed Brothers.
Manse of the Hallowed Brothers
Iron Wayfarer – Rest after finding the Vestige of Ferrers the Charred on the path to the Manse. Then, the Iron Wayfarer will be standing next to it ready to continue his story.
Tower of Penance
Perception Wisp – Reward for viewing one of the stigmas in the Tower of Penance behind a wall that can be destroyed as you descend the tower. Return the item to Dunmire in Molhu’s room after giving him the tome.
Sunless Skein
Dunmire – Once he receives the Perception Wisp, Exacter Dunmire will move to Sunless Skein. Travel to the Vestige of Hooded Antuli, take the shortcut ladder on the right as you enter the mines, and work your way to the area with the poison pit (pictured below). Exhaust his conversation here.
Abbey of the Hallowed Sisters
Iron Wayfarer – The Iron Wayfarer will help in the fight with the Rapturous Huntress of the Dusk before taking the rune for himself. If he doesn’t, then you missed one of the previous interactions.
Revelation Depths
Dunmire – Pickup Exacter Dunmire’s Rosary and Ring next to the altar in the boss room before entering Mother’s Lull.
Mother’s Lull
Dunmire – Exhaust Dunmire’s dialog in Mother’s Lull. Then, return to the Vestige of Hooded Antuli in Sunless Skein and backtrack toward Upper Calrath. Pickup the rest of Exacter Dunmire’s gear sitting on the rail tracks before reaching the spiral staircase. This completes his quest and The Price of Knowledge achievement or trophy will now unlock.
Upper Calrath (3rd Visit)
The Lightreaper’s Umbral Parasite – Defeat the Lightreaper to acquire his parasite. Then, return to Skyrest Bridge and place the parasite in Molhu’s room.
Iron Wayfarer – Fight the Iron Wayfarer in front of the gate leading to the castle near the vestige, but don’t open the gate yet.
Mother’s Lull
Withered Rune of Adyr & Melchior’s Seedpod – Return to Mother’s Lull and interact with the follower to receive the Withered Rune of Adyr and Melchior’s Seedpod.
Bramis Castle
Melchior – Interact with the Effigy of Adyr in the throne room after defeating the Sundered Monarch. Then, use the seedpod on Melchior’s body.
Fief of the Chill Curse
Iron Wayfarer – Work your way through the original path (up the ladders) until you reach a gate with a hunter and 2 dogs. Climb the ladder to the other side and enter Umbral to find the Iron Wayfarer overlooking the view. Talk with him and use the Withered Rune of Adyr to complete his questline and receive the Harkyn’s Umbral Parasite. Pick up his gear to unlock The Last Step achievement or trophy.
Skyrest Bridge
Harkyn’s Umbral Parasite – Return the parasite to Molhu’s room in Skyrest Bridge. Then, talk with Molhu.
Elianne the Starved – Soulflay Pieta and defeat Elianne the Starved and unlock the A Hunger Stated achievement or trophy. You will also receive Elianne’s Umbral Parasite. Make sure you view her remembrance before leaving.
Elianne’s Gear – Trade with Molhu for Elianne’s weapons and gear. If you don’t do it now, you will miss this opportunity.
Molhu – After getting all of the items needed from Molhu, place Elianne’s Umbral Parasite in the socket and talk to Molhu. Then, navigate through Mother’s Lull and trigger the ending. The Back to the Void achievement or trophy will unlock when the credits roll.
