Lords of the Fallen Achievements & Trophies Guide

Welcome to the Lords of the Fallen achievements and trophies guide. This guide will walk you through how to unlock all 63 achievements and trophies in the base game at launch.

Similar to the recently released Lies of P, Lords of the Fallen is another action RPG that takes many mechanics from the Souls series. Unlike Lies of P, Lords of the Fallen was originally released in 2014 and was not well received. This reboot includes a number of changes that make this version of the game better than the original. The game’s theme and intertwined world coincide well with the source material and the genre.

Plagued by Launch Bugs

Overall, Lords of the Fallen is a great souls-like game. Unfortunately, the launch version of the game contains significant performance problems on Xbox and PC. If you’re playing the game near launch, lower any settings you can, even on console. By default, they select Quality instead of Performance. There are a few other settings like Motion Blur, Film Grain, and Chromatic Aberration that may also be disabled on console. These are all considered post-effects and take additional GPU time to process. PC players have additional settings to try and squeeze a more smooth experience out of the game.

Many textures simply don’t load in on Xbox as well (see image below), making it difficult to immerse yourself in the game.

Cross platform play is broken at launch if you want to play with friends on other platforms. The in-game menus indicate that setting a unique password will allow players to invite their friends from PC/Xbox or PC/PS5, but it is not functioning yet.

Unfortunately, the development team is not helping. They keep releasing new builds on different platforms and are not synching them up. On the multiplayer games I worked on, we always made sure the game fully passed cert from all platforms before releasing builds. Hours after the Xbox updated to match the version of the PS5 and Steam, this development team released a newer version on Steam, intentionally breaking cross play for at least a few more days. It’s not rocket science. Get the fixes approved, hold them until all are ready, set a release time, and all platforms will update within an hour of each other.

Game Stats

  • Difficulty: 7/10 (early game is much harder than late game if you use NG+0)
  • Time to Completion: 100-150 hours (random armor/weapon drops have low rates)
    • 1st Playthrough: 50-80 hours
    • 2nd Playthrough: 5-10 hours
    • 3rd Playthrough: 4-8 hours
    • Armor Collector: 30-50 hours
  • Does Difficulty Affect Achievements/Trophies?: No. There are no difficulty settings.
  • Buggy Achievements/Trophies: Yes. While working on the questline for Damarose she occasionally fails to give you the Laughter gesture which blocks unlocking Gesture Collector. You will need to do the first part of her questline on another playthrough with the same character to unlock it.
  • Missable Achievements/Trophies: Yes.
    • There are 3 different endings and the game will likely require 3 full playthroughs.
    • Most of the NPC story achievements/trophies are locked behind specific criteria (listed below) and will halt if a step is missed.

Recommended Playthroughs

Check the Lords of the Fallen Recommended Playthroughs Guide for a detailed walkthrough off all 3 playthroughs.

  1. Radiant – In your initial playthrough, focus on finding all weapons, armor, accessories, and spells that you can while cleansing the beacons. Try to complete either Isaac or Kukajin’s questline. When you’re finished, move on to New Game +0 Reset.
  2. Inferno – Next, go to New Game+0 and leave the beacons alone. Doing so will give you access to questlines that were blocked by cleansing the beacons. Complete Isaac or Kukajin’s questline depending on which you did previously.
  3. Umbral – Finally, in another New Game +0, focus on the requirements for the Umbral Ending, Exacter Dunmire’s questline, and the Iron Wayfarer’s quest. It’s highly recommended you also complete Byron’s questline again so Winterberry will sell the Charmed Paw to help with the gear grind at the end.

General Tips

  • If the frame rate starts to consistently drop, shut down the game and fully restart it.
  • Don’t kill Lightreaper until you face him in Upper Calrath where you can summon either Isaac or Kukajin for their achievements/trophies.
  • Use your lantern frequently while exploring to look for alternate paths in Umbral.
  • Many enemies hide behind corners and destructible objects, so tread carefully near them.
  • When the vigor counter in the top right of the screen contains a purple gem, you have enough to level up.
  • Beckon either an NPC or another player to join you on boss battles to make them easier if you’re struggling.
  • After killing one of the main bosses (achievement/trophy will pop), look around the area for a memory to scour. Doing so will reward you with remembrances.
  • Before fighting the Mistress of Hounds, make sure you go down the ladder next to the elevator and free the blacksmith. She will help you upgrade your weapons and socket them with runes.
  • Purchase every achievement/trophy related item from Damarose when you 1st encounter her before the Mistress of Hounds boss. She will likely disappear after that encounter and you will miss out of what she offers.
  • Buy all gear (weapons, shields, pendants, rings, spells, and armor) that you don’t own from vendors when you see them available. Many merchants will leave and some will permanently stop selling to you depending on your game choices.
  • Choose to either cleanse all or none of the beacons for your 1st playthrough.

Skyrest Bridge

Rise and Fall

10G – Defeat Pieta, She of Blessed Renewal.

Automatic story achievement/trophy. This will unlock after defeating the first boss, Pieta. Before the fight, beckon the Iron Wayfarer near the gate for additional support. He will likely die in the first half, but will take some of the damage. During the 1st phase, dodge toward Pieta when she does her 3-swing combos and attack when she finishes. Occasionally, you will see a longer opening and should use a charged heavy attack in those situations.

In phase 2, she will add ranged attacks, and temporarily summon 2 minions. Don’t stand in the area when they fly across the arena since it will do massive damage a few seconds later. While fighting her up close do single attacks between dodges of her swings. Once she is defeated, the achievement or trophy will unlock.

Forsaken Fen

Together in Death

15G – Defeat The Congregator of Flesh.

Automatic story achievement/trophy. This will unlock after defeating the second main boss, The Congregator of Flesh. Beckon one of the NPC companions to help take on the boss. If the boss leaps in the air, roll away to avoid damage when it lands.

Burying the Past

15G – Defeat The Hushed Saint.

If you’re on a playthrough where you are working on Kukajin‘s quest and not Isaac’s, intentionally die the 1st time you fight this boss and beckon her.

Automatic story achievement/trophy. This will unlock after defeating the main boss, The Hushed Saint. While the Hushed Saint is on his horse, dodge incoming attacks and try to follow them while they burrow underground. When the boss is alone, dodge into his combos. Upper Calrath

Unwanted

15G – Defeat the Spurned Progeny.

Automatic story achievement/trophy. This will unlock after defeating the main boss, Spurned Progeny. During the 1st phase of the fight, focus on attacking the Spurned Progeny’s legs. When it stands up straight, dodge and move away to avoid getting smashed. If the boss summons 3 flaming spouts, move away from the boss until all 3 spouts have gone off, then move back in and continue fighting. When the boss moves away, watch for a shockwave than can be dodged. At around 70% health, the Spurned Progeny will fill the lower level of the arena with lava, look for the nearest staircase and move to higher ground in preparation for the 2nd phase.

In phase 2, choose 1 of the 3 platforms to battle the Spurned Progeny. Use ranged attacks at the start of the phase while the boss is working its way toward your location. Watch for swipes and slams from each of the side hands and try to get a hit or 2 in after they settle on the platform.

When you see the 3rd arm extend from its mouth, move away. If the boss bring its head down near the platform, the arm will extend out 3 times. If it aims directly up, it will summon a large explosion and you need to take cover behind one of the available walls between the platforms. When the 3rd arm points up at an angle, it will rain fire down on your location, so keep moving. Finally, if the 3rd arm rest on the platform with and produces a fireball, run to the platform on the opposite side of the arena.

Automatic story achievement/trophy. This will unlock after defeating the main bosses, Harrower Dervla and The Unbroken Promise. During the 1st phase, you will fight the Harrower Dervla while the prisoner fires projectiles at you. Try to position yourself so the projectiles hit the nearby pillars. The Harrower Dervla attacks slow and can easily be overwhelmed if you are aggressive.

In phase 2, they will combine into a single entity and the fight will mostly remain the same with The Unbroken Promise adding umbral magic to the mix. Continue aggressively attacking the boss and it will be defeated, unlocking the achievement or trophy.

Fief of the Chill Curse

Wings of Grief

15G – Defeat the Hollow Crow.

If you’re on a playthrough where you are working on Kukajin‘s quest and not Isaac’s, intentionally die the 1st time you fight this boss and beckon her.

Automatic story achievement/trophy. This will unlock after defeating the main boss, The Hollow Crow. It’s highly recommended that you beckon an NPC companion or fight this boss with another player. This fight should be entirely fought in the Umbral World so you can see the girl and attack her when she appears. Since she will vanish after being hit, make sure you use a charged heavy attack to do as much damage as possible with each hit. Between appearances, clear out the minions she summons. The companion can help keep the minions from overwhelming you.

After draining her life, she will disappear until res-ummoned by the Hollow Crow. While she is gone, move around the arena and avoid projectiles from the crow as well as watching for moving ice magic on the arena floor. Once she is re-summoned, the battle will repeat. Every hit against the girl will damage the Hollow Crow. After its life is drained, run up and finish it off.

15G – Defeat Reinhold the Immured.

If you’re on a playthrough where you are working on Kukajin‘s quest and not Isaac’s, intentionally die the 1st time you fight this boss and beckon her.

Automatic story achievement/trophy. This will unlock after defeating the main boss, Reinhold the Immured. Beckoning an NPC or another player with you will help attack this boss from behind while he is using his shield. During the 1st phase, Tancred wields a holy staff and telegraphs the majority of his physical attacks. Make sure you destroy the umbral parasite that strengthens him to make the fight a bit easier. If you see the boss cast a holy sphere in the air, keep mobile to avoid being hit by projectiles that it will fire at you. When Tancred slams his fist on the ground, dodge through a large AoE blast.

In the 2nd phase, Reinhold will primarily attack from a hunched position on his arms and legs and will utilize fire magic against you. Target one of the back legs to avoid behind hit from his forward-facing attacks. When you see the boss stand up straight, move away before he slams back down to the ground, leaving him open for some devastating free hits. If Reinhold stands on his hands, be ready for his legs to slam down in your direction.

The Empyrean

If you’re on a playthrough where you are working on Kukajin‘s quest and not Isaac’s, intentionally die the 1st time you fight this boss and beckon her.

Upper Calrath

Hunt’s End

15G – Defeat the Lightreaper.

Warning: Don’t defeat the Lightreaper until you face him in Upper Calrath where you can summon either Isaac or Kukajin. They both have questlines that require having them assist in the battle.

Automatic story achievement/trophy. This will unlock after defeating the main boss, Lightreaper. You will encounter the Lightreaper in 4 locations with the option to repeat the battle in Upper Calrath. Before entering the arena in Upper Calrath, go into the Umbral World, climb the ladder, and soulfaly the umbral entity to weaken the boss’s ability to heal. While Lightreaper is on his dragon, run to avoid the fire blasts and dodge when it lands. Once the Lightreaper is off, unleash your strongest attacks in coordination with Isaac or Kukajin to aggressively take him down.

You will not actually fight Adyr. Instead, you will run around the area and kill his aggressive followers who glow red and attack you. As each one dies, Adyr’s life will slowly drain. Once the final follower is dealt with and Adyr’s dialog completes, stand in the flame circle in front of the boss.

Mother’s Lull

A Hunger Sated

20G – Defeat Elianne the Starved.

Warning: This can only be earned during an Umbral Ending playthrough.

Optional story achievement/trophy. This will unlock after defeating the final boss, Elianne the Starved, and is only available if you chose not to cleanse the beacons and follow the Umbral path. Many of Elianne the Starved’s moves are taken from the battle you had with Pieta with a few exceptions. When she summons a spectral version of herself, you need to change focus on the specter. Once it is destroyed, Elianne will be staggered and vulnerable for an attack so be ready to run to her position quickly before she gets up. During the fight, a specter will be summoned 2-3 times.

Periodically, Elianne will summon floating eyes around the arena. Destroy these or move around to avoid getting hit. If you see her fly up into the air and thrust her sword straight into the ground, back off and be ready to dodge many swirling eyes.

A Rest Among the Dead

10G – Reached the Skyrest Bridge interior.

Automatic story achievement/trophy. This will unlock after defeating Pieta and discovering the interior of Skyrest Bridge.

Andreas of Ebb

Antanas’ Legacy

10G – The value of Andreas of Ebb’s friendship is made clear.

Warning: Do not kill the Lightreaper until after you give Andreas of Ebb his missing book.

Meet with Andreas of Ebb when you initially arrive at Skyrest Bridge just outside the sanctuary and make sure you exhaust his dialog. Later, he will move next to the vestige. After killing the Spurned Progeny, he will leave Skyrest Bridge. Next, he will move to the alcove across from Kukajin after you complete Fief of the Chill Curse and will ask you to find a lost book.

Near the end of the game, you will head toward Bramis Castle through a shortcut opened on the other side of the arena where you fought Pieta at the beginning. As you walk through the small door, you will see a new stigma and receive Andreas’ missing book. Return the book to him and he will offer to help you in battle. Just before fighting the Lightreaper in a repeatable battle in Upper Calrath, talk to him just before the arena. He will join you in the battle, where it is recommended you let yourself die.

Doing so will fulfill his obligation to help and will give you the chance to beckon Isaac or Kukajin for their achievements/trophies. Once the Lightreaper is defeated, plant a seed in his arena and rest. Then, you will fight Andreas of Ebb in the next alley and unlock his achievement or trophy.

Refer to the Lords of the Fallen Recommended Playthroughs Guide for a detailed walkthrough of all 3 playthroughs.

Byron

Moving On

10G – Byron finds a new purpose.

Warning: Don’t take the elevator behind the Skinstealer boss until after you have found the pendant in Revelation Depths.

Meet Byron in Pilgrim’s Perch when you find the Vestige of Blind Agatha and exhaust his conversation. Talk to him again when you reach the vestige in Forsaken Fen and the 2nd vestige in Sunless Skein. Continue progressing through the area until you fight the Skinstealer boss. After defeating the boss, you will receive a key and it will be tempting to use the elevator behind it. Do not use the elevator yet or it will break Byron’s questline. Instead, use the key in the lower sewers of the Cistern and lower the water level. Then, explore Revelation Depths.

After lowering a bridge shortcut, look for a small room nearby with an altar and destroy the wall to the left of it. Next, talk with Winterberry at the end of the new path and notice that she has but is unwilling to sell the pendant Byron is looking for. Return to Byron in the Sunless Skein and tell him about Winterberry. Now, you can take the elevator behind the Skinstealer boss to Upper Calrath.

Next, return to Skyrest Bridge and head into the depths below where you initially found the Tortured Prisoner. Byron and Winterberry will be located by the gazebo near the bridge. Talk to Byron to receive an eye and complete his quest which unlocks the achievement or trophy.

Refer to the Lords of the Fallen Recommended Playthroughs Guide for a detailed walkthrough of all 3 playthroughs.

Drustan

Hero Worship

10G – Drustan’s faith in his brother remains steadfast.

Warning: Don’t open the bell door near the Windmill vestige that leads to the Fief of the Chill Curse until after you meet Drustan in Lower Calrath. Doing so will break his quest line.

Meet Drustan in Fitzroy’s Gorge by using the Umbral lap to walk up a ramp on the right just after crossing a long Umbral bridge. Exhaust his dialog. Next, make sure you do not open the door to Fief of the Chill Curse yet. Instead, continue the story until you reach the Vestige of Lydia the Numb Witch in Lower Calrath. Then, walk out on the small balcony under the vestige and give Drustan an Unripe Berry.

While exploring the Fief of the Chill Curse, you will pass through an Umbral gate into a barnyard. Talk with Drustan under a covered area of the yard. Then, light the fire to warm him up. After entering the burning area of Bramis Castle, you will need to pass through a wall of fire in Umbral to open an Umbral gate. Work your way into the broken tower on the right, view Drustan’s stigma, and collect his belongings. Finally, after defeating the Sundered Monarch, head up to the Effigy of Adyr and view the final stigma in Drustan’s questline to unlock the achievement or trophy.

Isaac

Vengeful Reflection

10G – An Umbral imprint of Isaac faces the Lightreaper.

Warning: Do not kill the Lightreaper until you face it in Upper Calrath with Isaac. This achievement/trophy is mutually exclusive with A Trace of Venom, so you need to choose which one you will focus on for your playthrough.

Completing this achievement/trophy will also unlock the Dark Crusader starting class. Follow these steps to unlock the option to summon Isaac against the Lightreaper in Upper Calrath.

  3. Path of Devotion – Shortly after viewing the final stigma of Isaac, you will find another small hill before the path makes a sharp right into some crossbow enemies. Instead, turn left and move into the Umbral World. There you will find a path to an arena with another stigma. Interact with it and defeat the Paladin’s Burden boss to receive Umbral-Tinged Flayed Skin.
  4. Travel back to the dead end path (step 1) at the start of the game where you found the Flayed Skin and open a new path in the Umbral World to the Paladin’s Armor set.

When you fight the Lightreaper near the end of the game in Upper Calrath die during your initial attempt. Then, summon Isaac and defeat the boss to unlock the achievement/trophy and the Dark Crusader class.

Refer to the Lords of the Fallen Recommended Playthroughs Guide for a detailed walkthrough of all 3 playthroughs.

Kukajin

A Trace of Venom

10G – Kukajin concludes her business in Mournstead.

Warning: Do not kill the Lightreaper until you face it in Upper Calrath with Isaac. This achievement/trophy is mutually exclusive with Vengeful Reflection, so you need to choose which one you will focus on for your playthrough.

While exploring the Forsaken Fen, look for a small cave near a bonfire surrounded by shallow swamp. Inside the cave you will find Kukajin petrified. Talk with her and exhaust her conversation, then cast Sanctify to free her. She will show up in Skyrest Bridge in the long hallway will rooms near the vestige. Speak with her again and she will explain that she will help in fights for a price. Summon her for all of the fights listed below and make sure you pay her fee after each fight.

  • The Unbroken Promise – 7k bounty
  • The Hollow Crow – 6k bounty
  • Reinhold the Immured – 7.5k bounty
  • Judge Cleric – 8.5k bounty
  • Lightreaper – 8.5k bounty
  • The Sundered Monarch – 9k bounty

After paying her final fee, Kukajin should have enough to move on. Collect her gear once she has left and the achievement or trophy will unlock. If you miss a payment, Kukajin will leave Skyrest Bridge and turn into a mini boss in Upper Calrath.

Refer to the Lords of the Fallen Recommended Playthroughs Guide for a detailed walkthrough of all 3 playthroughs.

Sophesia

A Queen’s Rest

10G – Sophesia bestows a final favour.

You will first encounter the Tortured Prisoner while working on a shortcut path back to Skyrest Bridge. Interact with her while she is in her cell and you won’t understand what she says. Then, enter Umbral and head back down the stairs. Soulflay 3 Umbral pods to open the path at the top of the ladder and collect the Searing Accusation catalyst inside. Then, give it to her. The next time you rest and return, she will leave her mask behind and will relocate to Pieta’s boss arena. Exhaust her dialog here and she will teach you a new gesture before opening up shop.

Continue the story until you reach Upper Calrath. After defeating the Spurned Progeny, return to the Tortured Prisoner and give her the Giant Eyeball. While exploring the market streets in Upper Calrath, collect the Noblewoman armor set. Then, return to the Spurned Progeny boss arena while wearing the Noblewoman set and talk with her again. Continue playing until you reach the beacon in Upper Calrath. Just before the beacon, you will find the Tortured Prisoner leaning against some bars. Speak with her again to receive the Elegant Perfume.

Bramis Castle

When you reach Bramis Castle, look for the Charred Letter near the start of the region. After finding the vestige, return to the prisoner and give her the letter. She will move next to the vestige in the castle. Continue exploring the castle until you get to the royal bedroom and collect the Swaddling Cloth. Give her the close as soon as you can and don’t fight The Sundered Monarch before doing so. While fighting the boss, make sure you equip and use the Elegant Perfume on him (preferably after 50% health). After the fight, interact with the Tortured Prisoner and complete her quest. Once the achievement/trophy pops, return to the vestige and collect her gear where she was previously standing.

If you don’t return the Swaddling Cloth, Sophesia will turn into an optional boss after you kill the Sundered Monarch. Head back to the balcony just before the royal chamber where you originally fought 2 ruiners. She will be waiting there for you.

Refer to the Lords of the Fallen Recommended Playthroughs Guide for a detailed walkthrough of all 3 playthroughs.

Sparky

Travels Resumed

10G – Sparky is liberated.

Before defeating the Mistress of Hounds, climb down the ladder next to the elevator that leads up to the Vestige of Blind Agatha and defeat all the enemies at the bottom. Then, pickup the key dropped by the special enemy and give it to Gerlinde the blacksmith. The next time you travel to Skyrest Bridge, she will setup shop and Sparky will be her companion standing next to her. Next, collect the following items and make sure you give the 3rd item to Sparky, not Gerlinde.

  • Cracked Rune Tablet – On a cliff just below the location where you first meet Drustan in Fitzroy’s Gorge.
  • Chipped Rune Tablet – Inside a house in Upper Calrath in the fireplace on the way to Sunken Skein.
  • Rune Tablet – Chest on one of the grated floors in the Tower of Penance. Give this one to Sparky for the achievement/trophy to pop.

Giving Sparking the final tablet will anger Gerlinde and she will raise prices after that. So, you may want to hold off on giving him the tablet until a bit later in your playthrough once you have upgraded the gear you plan to use.

Refer to the Lords of the Fallen Recommended Playthroughs Guide for a detailed walkthrough of all 3 playthroughs.

Faithful

10G – Stomund, Captain of the Fidelis is greeted at the Empyrean.

Radiant Ending

In Light We Walk

15G – Reach the Radiant ending.

Completing this ending will unlock the Radiant Purifier starting class.

During this playthrough, make sure you cleanse all 5 beacons before heading to Bramis Castle. There are a few locations around the world where you can see the other beacons in the distance to make sure they are cleansed (like the top of Tower of Penance). Beacons are located in Forsaken Fen, Upper Calrath, Fief of the Chill Curse, Tower of Penance, and The Empyrean.

Inferno Story Achievements

Damarose

Part of the Divine

10G – Damarose the Marked receives her divine reward.

Warning: Save this questline for your Inferno playthrough when you skip cleansing beacons. Cleansing your first beacon will cause her to leave.

Meet Damarose the Marked as you work your way down the ladders toward the boss fight with Scourged Sister Delyth in Pilgrim’s Perch and exhaust her dialog. Next, you will see her just outside the Mistress of Hounds boss area where she will offer to sell a few rare gear pieces and an infernal spell.

Before fighting Crimson Rector Percival, look for Damarose overlooking Fitzroy’s Gorge on a cliffside. Then, go ahead and fight Crimson Rector Percival After defeating the Ruiner boss on the bridge, switch to Umbral and follow the path off the bridge to the Shrine of Adyr. This will be Damarose’s home for most of the game. She should teach you the Laughter gesture here, but it can bug out without it effecting her questline.

When you reach the Cistern and lower the water level, head into the next chamber and collect the Adyr-Worshipper’s Saw. Return this to Damarose at the Shrine of Adyr to continue her quest and expand her inventory with Rhogar’s Reach and Adyr’s Endurance. Next, kill the following bosses to collect their flesh:

  • Infernal Enchantress in Lower Calrath
  • Spurned Progeny in Lower Calrath
  • Lightreaper in Fitzroy’s Gorge, Fief of the Chill Curse, or Upper Calrath
Bramis Castle

As soon as you get the 3rd piece of flesh, return to Damarose and give her the ingredients. She will now sell 3 rare rings for 3000 each. After you open the gate in Upper Calrath that leads to Bramis Castle, Damarose will move to her boss room in the area. Talk with her near the fire and exhaust her dialog. If you haven’t already done so, buy out the remainder of her rare items. Finally, collect Damarose’s gear in front of the Effigy of Adyr above the thrones after killing the Sundered Monarch in the castle. This will unlock her achievement or trophy.

Exacter Dunmire

The Price of Knowledge

10G – Exacter Dunmire gains the knowledge he seeks

It’s recommended you tackle this during an Umbral Ending playthrough to avoid spending 50 Umbral Scouring on the item needed to reach Mother’s Lull.

Skyrest Bridge

Meet Exacter Dunmire when you first arrive in Skyrest Bridge where he will teach you a new gesture. While exploring the regions of the game, look of the following quest items and bring them back to him to increase his shop inventory and progress his questline.

  • Bloody Aspergillum – Pickup the item at the base of a statue when you enter the arena where you fight Scourged Sister Delyth in Pilgrim’s Perch.
  • Book of Sin – Soulflay an Umbral Belly in the lower structures of Pilgrim’s Perch.
  • Hallowed Sentinel Scripture – Found in a small cage near the top of Pilgrim’s Perch on a platform where you fight almost a dozen enemies.
  • Vanguard Barros’ Rosary – Inside one of the shacks that unlock after defeating the Mendacious Visage boss in Forsaken Fen.
  • Ravager Gregory’s Rosary – From the Vestige of Lydia the Numb Witch in Lower Clarath, take the ladder shortcut up and then the small ramp that leads to the rooftop. Then, collect the rosary from the impaled body on the roof.
  • Dark Crusader’s Call – Reward for defeating the Harrower Dervla and The Unbroken Promise bosses in Revelation Depths.
  • Umbral Tome – While traveling through Upper Calrath on the way to Sunless Skein you will descend a tall spiral staircase. At the top of the stairs, switch to Umbral and enter the door above the stairs to the right to locate the tome. Dunmire will move next to Molhu after giving him the tome.
  • Perception Wisp – Reward for viewing one of the stigmas in the Tower of Penance behind a wall that can be destroyed as you descend the tower.
Late Game

Once he receives the Perception Wisp, Exacter Dunmire will move to Sunless Skein. Travel to the Vestige of Hooded Antuli, take the shortcut ladder on the right as you enter the mines, and work your way to the area with the poison pit (pictured below). Exhaust his conversation here.

Lords of the Fallen Achievements Guide - The Price of Knowledge - Exacter Dunmire in Sunless Skein

Continue the story until you reach Upper Calrath on the way to Bramis Castle. Purchase the Umbral Scouring Clump from Molhu for 50 Umbral Scouring. Then, return to the vestige at the end of Revelation Depths and head to the top of the altar in Harrower Dervla’s boss arena. Pickup Exacter Dunmire’s Rosary and Ring next to the altar. Now, use the Umbral Scouring Clump on the altar to enter Mother’s Lull and exhaust Dunmire’s dialog.

Then, return to the Vestige of Hooded Antuli in Sunless Skein and backtrack toward Upper Calrath. Pickup the rest of Exacter Dunmire’s gear sitting on the rail tracks before reaching the spiral staircase. This completes his quest and the achievement or trophy will now unlock.

Refer to the Lords of the Fallen Recommended Playthroughs Guide for a detailed walkthrough of all 3 playthroughs.

Iron Wayfarer

The Last Step

10G – The Iron Wayfarer’s journey finally ends.

Warning: Save this questline for your Umbral playthrough. This NPC questline requires you to follow a long list of steps that need to be intertwined with the Umbral Ending. If any are missed, it will break.

Meet the Iron Wayfarer next to the Vestige of Hannelore in the Abandoned Redcopse just after completing the tutorial area. After your initial encounter, follow the Iron Wayfarer throughout your journey in the following locations.

  • Skyrest Bridge – Talk with the Iron Wayfarer shortly before fighting Pieta where he teaches about vestige seeds.
  • Forsaken Fen – Find the Iron Wayfarer in an underwater section on the way to the Mendacious Visage boss.
  • Lower Calrath – When you reach the Vestige of Lydia the Numb Witch, go back outside and down the ladder. Then, talk with the Iron Wayfarer to the left of the opposite side of the bridge.

    • View the stigma in the market street and talk with the Iron Wayfarer after. Make sure you rest after interacting with him, so he will show up in the next location.

Armor & Accessories

Ironclad

50G – Collected all armour pieces.

Collect all armor by purchasing them from merchants, trading with Molhu, killing enemies/bosses, completing quests, and finding pieces throughout the regions.

This achievement/trophy is a massive grind. Once you make sure you have collected all armor hidden in the environment or blocked by quests that cannot be stacked together, you will likely be missing about 20-30 pieces of gear. The drop rates on enemies is low and the odds of getting the piece(s) you need is abysmal. This will likely take an extra 30-50 hours of grinding to unlock and is best done after completing all endings and quest achievement/trophies in NG+0. Make sure you complete Byron’s questline in your final playthrough to give you access to Winterberry’s shop and the ability to buy unlimited Charmed Paws to help with the drop rates.

Trinket Collector

Refer to the Lords of the Fallen Gesture Locations Guide for details on where to find each of the gestures.

Stigmas

Lingering Moments

30G – Viewed all Umbral stigmas.

This achievement/trophy will require 3 full playthroughs working toward all 3 endings, fighting all optional bosses, and completing all NPC quests.
