Welcome to the Resident Evil 4 Chapter 7 Collectibles guide for the 2023 remake. This guide will walk you through where to find all 7 treasures and the clockwork castellan in Chapter 7 while navigating the Castle. During your first playthrough, make sure you trade with the merchant for each region’s map to simplify gathering treasures.
This guide shows the treasures found in the base game and does not include the extra treasures unlocked with the Deluxe Edition of the game. Those treasures are always shown on the map and are either found in chests or in lanterns hanging from trees/ceilings.

Merchant’s Shack

At the start of the chapter, go around to the back side of the merchant’s shack to find the compass.
Castle Gate

Drop down from the location of the cannon and follow the path around to a chest next to one of the blue medallions and a locked door.
Audience Chamber
Elegant Perfume Bottle
After Ashley unlocks the gate in the Audience Chamber, follow the hall on the right to a chest that contains the treasure.
Ruby
Next, squeeze through the gap in the wall and turn left to shoot the silver lantern hanging from the ceiling.
Storage Room
Spinel
After unlocking the gate with the Dungeon Key and ascending the ladder, this treasure is sitting on one of the cabinets.
Clockwork Castellan 7/16
From the Spinel, turn right and look up on the shelf to find and shoot the clockwork castellan.
Treasury
Gold Bangle
Open the chest in the hall after solving the swords puzzle in the Treasury.
Audience Chamber
Golden Hourglass
Once you return to the Audience Chamber, jump across the 2nd chandelier and then down the hole on the right to access the treasure.
