Welcome to the Resident Evil 4 Chapter 5 Collectibles guide for the 2023 remake. This guide will walk you through where to find all 4 treasures and the clockwork castellan in Chapter 5 while navigating the Village. During your first playthrough, make sure you trade with the merchant for each region’s map to simplify gathering treasures.
This guide shows the treasures found in the base game and does not include the extra treasures unlocked with the Deluxe Edition of the game. Those treasures are always shown on the map and are either found in chests or in lanterns hanging from trees/ceilings.

Church
Yellow Diamond
At the start of Chapter 5, return to the room where you found Ashley and shoot/knife the silver lantern hanging from the ceiling.
Village Square
Elegant Bangle
When you reach the Village Square, head to the left side of the northwest building and boost Ashley up the wall with yellow paint. After she opens the door, go inside and open the chest.
Village Chief’s Manor

Take the path south of the Village Square back to the Village Chief’s Manor. In the 2nd floor bedroom, interact with the picture to reveal a switch. Then boost Ashley up to release the ladder. Once in the attic, the camera is at the end of the path on the right after ducking under a board.
Clockwork Castellan 5/16
While in the attic of the Village Chief’s Manor, shoot the clockwork castellan hiding behind one of the breakable boxes.
Farm

When you reach the farm, head to the wayshrine in the northeast and use the Old Wayshrine Key.
