Welcome to the Satisfactory achievements guide. This guide covers all 44 achievements available in the base game at launch (1.0 release on PC).
Satisfactory is a fantastic game. It’s a combination of an open world survival game and a factory/logistics simulator. If you have a thing for getting numbers just right or like to make what you do efficient, this is the game for you. For me, it scratched an itch I didn’t know I had.
I spent over 350 hours while the game was in early access on Steam and completed the final shipment at the time. The final version of Satisfactory comes with many welcome quality of life fixes and improvements to the game. As you play it, you can tell the developers listened closely to the feedback of the player base. I hope you enjoy it as much as I did, having clocked in 500 hours at the time this guide was completed.
Game Stats
- Difficulty: 2/10
- Time to Completion: 120+ hours
- Does Difficulty Affect Achievements/Trophies?: No. You can make the creatures passive and still earn all achievements.
- Missable Achievements/Trophies: No.
- Bugged Achievements/Trophies: None reported.
Early-Game Tips
- Hold R when placing a foundation and choose Zoop to place 10 at a time.
- Holding Ctrl while placing a foundation to align it with the world grid.
- Use power shards to boost power plants and the resources feeding into them.
- Place Somersloops in production machines building the final parts for the space elevator.
- While exploring, continually search for Hard Drives, Somersloops, and Mercer Spheres on your scanner.
- Collectibles are often hidden in caves, high locations, under rocks (bring explosives), and behind minable nodes.
- Save any creature remains you find. Once you can use Somersloops to boost output, convert them to protein and then into DNA with the sloops and send the DNA to the Awesome Sink for coupons.
- Place Radar Towers to reveal resource nodes and show how many collectibles remain in an area.
- Automate each new part as you unlock them. They progressively unlock pieces needed for deliveries.
- Use map markers to mark the locations of collectibles you can’t reach or unlock yet.
Mid-Game Tips
- Use Smart Splitters and the Awesome Sink to take care of overflow. You will need 1000 coupons for the final achievement.
- Setup Fuel-Powered Generators near your oil facility to absorb the byproducts of plastic and rubber. Upgrade the fuel type from Fuel to Turbofuel, Rocket Fuel, and Ionized Fuel. These are significantly easier to build and maintain then nuclear power.
- Build power shards in a constructor with a Somersloop to double the output.
- Place an Industrial Storage Container with a Dimensional Depot (hooked up above it) at the output of each part. This will give you access to that part anywhere in the world. Start with concrete and use only concrete foundations and walls when building.
- Create blueprints to speed up initial factory designs with groups of smelters, constructors, and assemblers.
Key MAM Unlocks
- Alien Technology – Dimensional Depot, Alien Power Augmenter, and Production Amplifier.
- Caterium – AI Limiter, High-Speed Connector, Smart Splitter, and Geothermal Generator.
- Mycelia – Gas Mask
- Power Slugs – Overclocking
- Quartz – Quartz Crystal, Silica, Blade Runners, Crystal Oscillator, Scannable Object: Hard Drive, and Radar Tower.
- Sulfur – Black Powder, Nobelisk, Compacted Coal, Turbofuel, Rocket Fuel, and Ionized Fuel.
Recommended Alternate Recipes
There are enough hard drives in Satisfactory to unlock all alternate recipes. However, some are more resource-friendly than others and help in building a streamlined factory. When you see one of the recipes listed below, choose it right away.
If you have an unlock available with 2 recipe choices, they will not show up in other recipes. So, you can stockpile unlocked choices and wait until you have everything available before making decisions to avoid bad recipes from popping up multiple times. The UI is doesn’t work well with scrolling a long list, but the search feature will bring up the recipe if you look for these listed below.
- Aluminum Beam
- Aluminum Rod
- Automated Speed Wiring
- Caterium Circuit Board
- Caterium Computer
- Copper Alloy Ingot
- Crystal Computer
