Welcome to the Resident Evil 4 Chapter 16 Collectibles guide for the 2023 remake. This guide will walk you through where to find all 3 treasures and the clockwork castellan in Chapter 16 while navigating the Island. During your first playthrough, make sure you trade with the merchant for each region’s map to simplify gathering treasures.
This guide shows the treasures found in the base game and does not include the extra treasures unlocked with the Deluxe Edition of the game. Those treasures are always shown on the map and are either found in chests or in lanterns hanging from trees/ceilings.

Luis’s Lab
Velvet Blue
After climbing the ladder just outside Luis’s Lab, shoot the silver lantern hanging above the catwalk.
Sanctuary
Iluminados Pendant
Remove the treasure from the front of the monolith in the Sanctuary where you found Ashley.
Merchant’s Room
Gold Ingot
Open the chest outside the Merchant’s Room for the final treasure in the game.
Escape
Clockwork Castellan 16/16
As you are running to escape on the water scooter, you will be jumped by an enemy opening a door. In the room where the enemies are rolling around on the floor, shoot the clockwork castellan on top of a crate behind the forklift on the right side.
