Welcome to the Resident Evil 4 Chapter 12 Collectibles guide for the 2023 remake. This guide will walk you through where to find all 7 treasures and the clockwork castellan in Chapter 12 while navigating the Castle. During your first playthrough, make sure you trade with the merchant for each region’s map to simplify gathering treasures.
This guide shows the treasures found in the base game and does not include the extra treasures unlocked with the Deluxe Edition of the game. Those treasures are always shown on the map and are either found in chests or in lanterns hanging from trees/ceilings.

Gondola
Small Key
At the start of the chapter, open the briefcase on the table next to the gondola to collect the small key.
Throne Room
Gold Chicken Egg
Backtrack to the Throne Room and use the Cubic Device on the square lock box to unlock the treasure.
Castle Battlements
Ornate Beetle
Head back to the battlements and open the drawer in the first tower with a small key.
Clock Tower
Gold Bar
Just after entering the main room of the Clock Tower, circle around the boxes on the left to find a chest with the treasure.
Clockwork Castellan 12/16
On the 1st floor of the Clock Tower, shoot/knife the clockwork castellan under the stairs on the north side of the tower.
Alexandrite
On the 2nd floor of the Clock Tower, shoot down the silver lantern in the stairwell leading to a dead-end.
Mirror with Pearls & Rubies
Before jumping down the ladder at the top of the stairwell, walk through the broken railing and open the chest on the platform.
Extravagant Clock
At the top of the stairwell, jump down the ladder and head to the left to open the chest before taking the elevator up.
Yellow Diamond
After exiting the Clock Tower, shoot down a silver lantern hanging from the scaffolding. Then, crouch to cross the planks without breaking them.
