Chapter 8 Collectibles
Barren Swamp Entrance
Book (Venigni’s Krat Landmark Guide IV):
As you get off the tram, head into the next building and pickup the book in the 2nd room on a table.
Belford Superior Insulation Converter:
Then continue along the main path and open the chest at the base of the first hill to collect the converter.
Legion Caliber:
Defeat the mad clown puppet who tosses a boulder at you as you start ascending the next hill.
Half Moonstone:
After entering the tower head upstairs and collect the moonstone at the end of a beam.
Recharged Amulet:
As you exit the tower, turn right and climb the ladder. Next, head back inside and open the chest to acquire the amulet. Then, release the cart at the crest of the hill to open a shortcut back to the Stargazer.
Special Weapon (Frozen Feast):
Purchase the Frozen Feast from Alidoro in exchange for the Reborn Champion’s Ergo. Then, give him the gloves from Eugénie. The next time you talk with her, you will need to lie or tell the truth about Alidoro’s reaction.
Junkyard
Crescent Moonstone:
When you enter the junkyard, hide behind the first crate and wait for it to be destroyed. Then, collect the moonstone inside.
Half Moonstone:
Next, grab the moonstone on top of a junk pile in the middle of the water.
Normal Weapon (Live Puppet’s Axe):
Ascend the tower and destroy the large spear gun. Then open the chest and acquire the axe inside.
Barren Swamp
Dark moon Moonstone of the Covenant:
Collect the moonstone sitting near the next Stargazer.
Quest (Broken Puppet):
Talk with the Broken Puppet next to the Stargazer. Share the sadness and clap gestures for now.
Junkyard
Quartz x2:
Now, kill both Puppets of the Future to obtain a Quartz from each.
Document (Experiment Report of Order – Test Subject 890):
Head up the hill opposite the entrance to the junkyard and enter the house. Then, turn right and collect the document on the chest.
Crescent Moonstone:
Then, go out on the balcony of the house and pickup the moonstone.
Accessory (Owl Doctor’s Mask):
Next, go down the ladder to the basement of the house and talk with the Owl Doctor. After defeating him in battle, acquire his mask.
Fancy Venigni Collection:
Go counter-clockwise around the base of the tower and open the chest behind it to obtain the collection. Give it to Venigni’s butler to expand his shop.
Dimensional Butterfly x5:
Kill all 5 dimensional butterflies spread throughout the area.
Motivity Crank:
Dropped by a red dimensional butterfly.
Stabilized Alchemical Booster:
Kill 1 of the red dimensional butterflies.
Alchemical Booster:
Dropped by 1 of the purple dimensional butterflies.
Balanced Crank:
Kill the other purple dimensional butterfly.
Dark moon Moonstone of the Covenant:
Dropped by the yellow dimensional butterfly.
Half Moonstone:
Grab the moonstone from one of the dry land patches near the entrance to the junkyard.
Chasm Village
Crescent Moonstone:
Head up the long hill out of the junkyard and work your way to the next encampment. Directly under the start of this structure is a walkway that leads to a dead-end where you can collect the moonstone.
Barren Swamp Ravine
Legion Caliber:
Before opening the chest in the middle of the area, climb the ladder on the far side of the last building and activate the Stargazer. Then, defeat the large enemy and open the chest.
Boulder Area
Dimensional Butterfly x3:
Kill all 3 dimensional butterflies. There is 1 on each of the major boulder ramps.
Advanced Crank:
Dropped by the dimensional butterfly on the 1st boulder’s path.
Half Moonstone:
Kill the dimensional butterfly just past the 2nd boulder.
Half Moonstone:
Dropped by the dimensional butterfly earlier on the path of the 1st boulder. Since the boulder comes every couple of seconds, run in, hit it, then run back to safety. Repeat the process until the butterfly dies.
Arch Disruption Cartridge:
At the junction in the path, first head right and activate the shortcut back to the Stargazer. Then, head left, defeat the bear, and open the chest.
The Upper Path
Normal Weapon (City Longspear):
Open the chest in the house just past the shortcut for a new spear.
Leaping Amulet:
Kill the Pinocchio puppet and acquire the amulet.
Dark moon Moonstone of the Covenant:
Dropped by the Pinocchio puppet.
Crescent Moonstone:
Walk out on the narrow ledge just past the spear gun at the top of the tower and pickup the moonstone.
Barren Swamp Bridge
Book (Sentry’s Notebook):
Grab the notebook near the next Stargazer.
Picture (Wanted: Alidoro):
Then, run over to the small gate nearby and talk with Rookie Explorer Hugo. Continue talking with him until he gives you the picture.
Recollection (Golden Ergo):
The Green Monster boss will drop the Golden Ergo which can be given to Venigni. Refer to the Lies of P Green Monster Boss Guide for a full walkthrough.
Old Cryptic Vessel:
After defeating the boss talk to Alidoro about the wanted poster, then return to Rookie Explorer Hugo. Once you hear the remainder of his dialog, he will give you the vessel. Take it to Venigni to decrypt.
Barren Swamp Nest
Book (Frayed Notebook):
After climbing the ladder in the tunnel with the alarm going off, turn around and look in the alcove on the left. Then, collect the book on the ground.
Letter (Bloody Letter):
When you reach the train platform, grab the letter sitting on the far end of it.
Hotel Krat
Lie/Truth (Eugénie):
After giving Alidoro the gloves, return to Eugénie and let her know how it went.
- Lie: He was happy.
- Truth: He was angry. He said the gloves were rubbish.
Destruction Grindstone:
Purchase the grindstone from Pulcinella, the butler, for 1000 Ergo.
Satisfaction Grindstone:
Buy the grindstone from Pulcinella for 1000 Ergo.
Normal Weapon (Pistol Rock Drill):
Purchase the drill from Pulcinella for 3000 Ergo.
Transformation Amulet:
Buy the amulet from Pulcinella for 1750 Ergo.
Blue Guardianship Amulet:
Purchase the amulet from Pulcinella for 1750 Ergo.
Special Weapon (Two Dragons Sword):
Purchase the sword from Alidoro in exchange for the Puppet-Devouring Green Hunter’s Ergo.
Recollection (Golden lead-acid battery):
Trade the Golden Ergo with Venigni and receive the battery.
Decrypt the Vessel:
Hand Venigni the Cryptic Vessel and receive a decrypted clue in return. Next, travel to Path of Pilgrim and take the elevator down to the lower town. Then, walk up the hill on the other side of the town and talk with the Slum Resident.
Robbers’ Shack Key:
Given to you by the Slum Resident. Use it to open the door to the house nearby.
Life Amulet +1:
Open the chest inside the house.
Legion Caliber:
Also inside the chest.
