Welcome to the Avowed Training Arc achievement guide. This guide walks through how to unlock training with each of your companions at camp in the base game at launch.

Training Arc Achievement
Complete all training sessions with companions.
Train with all 4 of your companions at camp. Progress each companion’s storyline far enough and they will offer to train you at your party campsites. Training will give you 2 points in a single stat or 1 point each in 2 stats.
Kai
Kai will offer training while in Dawnshore after you exhaust all of his dialog about himself (his favorite subject). Keep cycling through all his dialog starting with “I’ve got questions about you.“
- +2 Constitution: You can withstand a lot of damage. I want to know how you stay on your feet
- +2 Might: You put a lot of power into your attacks. I want to learn how to hit harder with mine.
- +1 Each: Teach me a little bit of everything. I’m a fast learner.
Marius
Marius will offer training in Galawain’s Tusks, after you fully extinguish his dialog about all 4 zones. He’s a ranger, so this is what he is trained in. While in each zone, ask him “Let’s talk about [zone]…” until he has nothing left to say or he repeats advice on each of the 3 subtopics that he already mentioned. Only then will he offer to train you.
Note: If you follow the advice on exploration (not required) he will no longer mention the tips.
- +2 Dexterity: Tell me how to be quicker, quieter, and more agile.
- +2 Constitution: Show me how to survive conditions that would cripple the unprepared.
- +1 Each: I trust your instincts. How about a little of everything.
Giatta
Giatta will offer training in Shatterscarp after completing the Face Your Fears main quest.
- +2 Intellect: Tell me how an animancer sharpens their mind to decipher the spiritual world.
- +2 Resolve: I want to learn about how you stand up for yourself with an ironclad will.
- +1 Each: Whatever you want to teach me. I leave it in your hands.
Yatzli
Yatzli will also offer training in Shatterscarp after completing the Face Your Fears main quest.
- +2 Perception: You always see the traps before I do – can you show me what to look for?
- +2 Intellect: Let’s sharpen our wits.
- +1 Each: Whatever you want to teach me, I’m ready to learn!
