Welcome to the first Tigore’s Tips Achievement Guide covering the achievements/trophies for Grid Legends. At the time of this writing, the game is available on the Xbox Game Pass and is a fairly easy 1,000G while it is there. There are 2 add-ons for Grid Legends worth 200G each which are not covered in this guide.
Game Stats:
- Difficulty: 4/10
- Time to Completion: 50-60 hours
- Does Difficulty Affect Achievements/Trophies?: No. You can set the difficulty to Easy and unlock all achievements in the base game.
- Missable Achievements/Trophies: None. You can select and re-race all events in the Story and Career modes.
Recommended Playthrough
- Start by finishing the prologue race.
- Go to the main menu to set your first sponsor, and keep one active during your playthrough.
- Return to and finish all races included in the Story mode.
- Focus on events needed for sponsors and unlocking the Gauntlet while completing the Career mode. Drive GT Class 1 and Ferrari vehicles (each requires 50 miles driven) whenever you have the option.
- Race conditional events while using the Race Creator.
- Misc. cleanup.
General Tips
- Achievement progress can be tracked while in the Xbox system UI.
- During a race in Story mode, Y/Triangle will allow you to rewind a few seconds.
- While racing in Career or Race Creator, Y/Triangle will reset your vehicle on the track.
Sponsors
Sponsors will unlock while you progress through the game. Additional sponsors may be unlocked through the Team – Mechanical Development menu with the Sponsorship Requirement skill. This skill reduces the requirements for each of the sponsorships by 5-15% and will save you time while working on these tasks.
Start off by setting your first sponsor shortly after completing the prologue. Change sponsors immediately after finishing all 3 requirements, to minimize time while driving not going toward goals.
Conditional Setup
Before starting an event with a different number of drivers (Career mode has 22 drivers, but many conditional events only need 2), leave the current session. Press the Menu button, then LT/L2 to drop out of the current session.
While setting up events in the Race Creator, make sure you get enough events in snow or with jumps or gates.

Racing Achievements
Incredible, nobody can catch you!
15G – Won your first event
This should unlock after completing the first race during the Prologue.
Raged Racer
15G – Caused at least 3 opponents to reach Nemesis status during a single event
Bump into other racers on the track until they gain the red Nemesis icon. Repeat 3 times at the start of a race while the vehicles are in a large pack, and the achievement/trophy will pop.
Moon above the Castle
15G – Completed any event at the Havana Castillo View route during Night conditions
You will pick this up naturally while racing in the Story mode events. It should unlock during Chapter 9.
Caffeine and Catchup
15G – You won an elimination event after being in 22nd position at any point
This will unlock during the Story playthrough. If it doesn’t, you will get it while working on For the Time Extend crew! If you start an elimination event in a position less than 22nd, wait for the other drivers to pass you before starting the race.
Going the distance
30G – Gained access to Tier 3 Upgrades within any vehicle upgrade tree
Drive 50 miles while in one vehicle to unlock the tier 3 upgrades. You can view the progress by pressing Y/Triangle on the vehicle while in the vehicle select screen.

The achievement will pop after completing the sponsor event in Career – Semi-Pro – Grid Challenges after finishing the requirements for the Concordia sponsor.
Radical Rotary
30G – You’ve completed the Mazda Furai event and the car is yours. Now go drive it!
After completing the sponsor event in Career – Pro – Grid Challenges after finishing the requirements for the Xenon Dynamics sponsor, the achievement will unlock.

15G – Won the Porsche 935/78 Group 5 ‘Moby Dick’ by completing its Sponsor event
The achievement will pop after completing the sponsor event in Career – Pro – Grid Challenges after finishing the requirements for the Echo sponsor.
Formula Exhaust Feat
20G – Won the Renault R26 by completing its Sponsor event
After completing the sponsor event in Career – Pro – Grid Challenges after finishing the requirements for the Avax sponsor, the achievement will unlock.
Bedroom poster car acquired
15G – Won the Ferrari F40 LM by completing its Sponsor event
The achievement will pop after completing the sponsor event in Career – Pro – Grid Challenges after finishing the requirements for the Xero sponsor.
The toughest part of this sponsor is defeating the Haruna Kyojin team 4x in Career – Pro – Drift events. I recommend saving this sponsor for last.
Career Achievements
Race Driver
20G – Completed the TC-2 Finale
The TC-2 Finale is found in the Career mode under Rookie – Touring. Complete the events required to unlock the finale and finish the finale to pop the achievement.
Race Driver 2
20G – Completed the Classic Touring Car Finale
The Classic Touring Car Finale is found in the Career mode under Semi-Pro – Touring. Complete the events required to unlock the finale and finish the finale to pop the achievement.
Race Driver 3
30G – Complete the TC-1 Finale
The TC-1 Finale is found in the Career mode under Pro – Touring. Complete the events required to unlock the finale and finish the finale to pop the achievement.

The Formula X Event is found in the Career mode under Pro – Open Wheel. Finish the event to pop the achievement.
Careering along
30G – Complete 15 Events in Career mode
This achievement will unlock while working your way through the Career mode. You will need to complete dozens of events to complete all achievements.
What a Legend!
50G – Completed The Gauntlet in Career Mode
The Gauntlet events will unlock after completing all Pro racing events (drift events don’t count). They scale the difficulty up by adding more aggressive rubber banding AI during these 9 events. If you played through the game on easy, these events may be more frustrating if you make too many mistakes.

This should unlock through natural progression with the Story and Career modes. If this doesn’t pop, try going to Race Creator and alternate countries with the following settings:

15G – Achieved a Legend rating in any Drift event
The goal is to perform a drift long enough to trigger the final scoring event. The sequence is: Drift – Great Drift – Awesome Drift – Incredible Drift – Insane Drift – Drift King – Drift Legend.
To start a drift, hit the E-Brake (B button) while entering a turn. You can unlock this achievement in the Story/Career drift events or in the Race Creator with the following settings:
- Discipline: Drift Racing
- Class: Pro Drift
- Location: Okutama GP
- Route: Drift Circuit
- Conditions: Day
- Laps: 3 (or more, depending on how many tries you want)
Ramp it up!
15G – Hit every ramp on every lap of a Stadium Trucks ramp event
This will pop after hitting every jump in an event. An easy way to get this is to go to the Race Creator with the following setup. It will create an event with 4 ramps with the first on the right side at the start of the race.

For EV, with love
15G – Successfully hit 50 Boost gates in Electric events
This will unlock after driving through 50 sets of boost gates in Electric events. An easy way to get this is to go to the Race Creator with the following setup. Each lap will have one set of gates and you need to drive through both.
- Modifiers: Boosts: Gate Boosts
- Discipline: Electric
- Location: San Francisco
- Route: Short Circuit
- Laps: 1-10 (depending on how many gates you still need)

15G – You beat a Mazda 787B in a Mazda MX-5 during a Multi-Class event
Finish an event in Race Creator while driving the Mazda MX-5 with the following creator options:

20G – Owned all 4 launch Beltra vehicles
Unlock each of the following vehicles.
- Beltra Open Wheel – Unlocked after completing Career – Rookie – Open Wheel – Rookie Cup – Event 1.
- Beltra Icon Mk3 – Unlocked after completing Career – Semi-Pro – Electric – Super E – Event 1.
- Beltra Enduro 24T – Unlocked by completing Career – Pro – GT – Prototype – Event 1.

Misc. Achievements
Prepare to Dye
15G – You set up your Team design
While on the main menu, press RB/R1 to tab over to the Team menu and select the Team Profile. Then select either the team icon or banner. Last, choose a new icon or banner and the achievement will pop.
Rhythm Shifter
15G – Won a race using manual transmission
While on the main menu, press RB/R1 to tab over to the Options menu. Choose Gameplay – Difficulty and change the Transmission to one of the Manual options. Then go into Race Creator and setup an race in the Electric discipline with 2 drivers and 1 lap. You don’t need to change gears with the electric cars.
