EVERSPACE 2 Submarine Wrecks Challenge

Welcome to the EVERSPACE 2 Gilbert Shelf submarine wrecks location challenge guide. This guide shows you how to complete the location challenge on Gilbert Shelf in the Drake System which requires you to find 3 small submarines underwater.

Please refer to the EVERSPACE 2 Achievement Guide for details on the achievements/trophies in the game.

EVERSPACE 2 Submarine Wrecks

The Gilbert Shelf location challenge is annoying to complete because the game does not teach you how to navigate underwater and it is easy to lose your sense of direction in the murky sea.

Submarine Wreck 1

Start by flying over to the building with 2 sets of pipes of yellow pipes leading into the water. Next, follow the pipes underwater and stick with the middle set of pipes. It will look like the middle set ends abruptly, but you can see the continuation a short distance beyond the end point. Continue following the pipes a until you find the first submarine which is located just below the ship in the image below.

Submarine Wreck 2

Once the first wreck is found, follow the pipes back to the original set of 3 pipes. This time, follow the intertwined pipes from the other 2 sets. When the pipes split, continue sticking with the top/left set of pipes deeper under water where you will see a pressure warning. Shortly after the warning starts, you will find the 2nd submarine. After that, you can follow the pipes back and resurface.

Submarine Wreck 3

Next, fly over to the building on the opposite side of the bay and follow the yellow pipes on the right side (closest to the open sea). Keep following the pipes deep underwater until you reach the 3rd and final submarine. Finally, follow the pipes back up to the surface and continue exploring EVERSPACE 2.
