Welcome to the Enshrouded exploration and collectibles guide showing where to find all spires, flame shrines/sanctums, obelisks, shroud roots, and resources needed for achievements in the base game at early access launch.

If you’re having trouble finding the last of the flame shires in the Kindlewastes, you need to enter all 5 of the Sun Temples.

Valuable Materials

Flintstone – Mine flintstone throughout the Springlands. Just after using the grappling hook to climb over a wall on the way to the first ancient spire, mine flintstone along the left cliffside on the way up the hill to the spire.

Salt – Salt can drop randomly from breakable containers in the Springlands or it may be mined. The following map shows a Salt Mine in the western area of the Springlands.

Valuable Materials

Copper – Copper is spread throughout the region, but can easily be farmed from a mine in the northwest. Place a flame altar just outside the mine for easy access as you will need to frequent this mine throughout your playthrough.

Amber – Amber is more difficult to find. It is often found in small deposits in the shroud, so it can be hard to identify. The following location will have a vein of amber.

Ancient Spires

Ancient Spire – To reach the plateau, enter the cave southeast of Pikemead’s Reach and Roostnook and work your way north through the massive cave filled with shroud. You should come out in the tin mine.

#30 Flame Shrine – Accessing this shrine can be tricky going from the icon on the map. Start at the tin mine north of the shrine and work your way over the mountains, staying on the high ground. Then, enter the cave at the location shown on the map just west of the shrine. Follow the cave path to reach the flame shrine.

#35 Flame Sanctum – Reach the upper area by entering the cave shown below. It will take you past Obelisk #6 inside the mountain.

Tin – Mine tin ore throughout the Nomad Highlands. Travel to the Mining Rift to mine multiple tin deposits. Place a flame altar just outside the mine for easy access as you will need to frequent this mine throughout your playthrough.

Fossilized Bone – Mine fossilized bone from massive skeleton remains in the Nomad Highlands.

#42 Flame Shrine – Travel northeast up the valley with an enemy camp and find the shrine behind a mini boss.

#43 Flame Shrine

#45 Flame Shrine – Locate the shrine in a cave at the base of the cliff in the shroud.

#46 Flame Shrine – Glide to the high plateau from either the tower in the east or the mountain to the north.

#47 Flame Shrine of Manathor

#48 Sun Temple – Work your way to the top of the temple by zig-zagging between stairwells and swinging with the grappling hook.

#49 Haunted Sun Temple – After collecting the flame shrine, head further into the temple past the lockpick door until you see the “Haunted Sun Temple” region text.

Iron Ore – Mine iron ore throughout the Kindlewastes. Travel to the Ridgeback Mine to mine multiple iron deposits. Place a flame altar just outside the mine for easy access as you will need to frequent this mine.

Sulfur – Mine sulfur throughout the Kindlewastes. Travel to the Sulfur Mine to mine multiple sulfur deposits.

Lapislazuli – Lapislazuli is spread throughout the Kindlewastes. Look for deposits of blue stones, often buried in sandstone.
